Into the Forest, Second Exam

In passing the first exam team seven had a day of rest before taking the second exam.

They all met up in front of a fence that held a forest within it. Their proctor Anko introduced it as "The Forest of Death." Naruto began mocking their proctor and Kurami just shook her head at Naruto's stupidity as Anko threw a kuni at him for his mockery. Scaring him in the process. Kurami shivered at the grass ninja who returned her kuni with her tounge. The grass ninja looked over at Kurami giving her a smirk as she walked away giving Kurami more shivers.

They all stood at their gates, scroll and all. Ready to be let into the forest. After a count down. They were let in. Everyone took off in a sprint. After a little bit of running the four stopped. Sakura began to panic as they all heard a scream. Kurami was on high alert but wasn't to concerned. Kurami looked over at Naruto as he began to dance around. Sakura took notice when he was about to unzip his pants. Kurami just sighed at the two of them. Her eyes instantly narrowed at the "Naruto" that came back. "What have you done with Naruto?" The fake gave Sasuke a confused look. "What do you mean? I am Naruto." Kurami scoffed crossing her arms. "That's gotta be the worst transformation jutsu I've ever seen. Even Naruto could do better." The ninja gave up the charade and gave up the transformation. Kurami and Sasuke threw kuni at him that he dodged and jumped up throwing some of his own. The two ran at him and Kurami grabbed Sasuke's hand to give him leverage and threw him. She stood by watching the fight until she found Naruto where she instantly untied him.

Once rid of the rain ninja the four sat in a square. Sasuke came up with a password for them to use that for sure Naruto wouldn't remember. They were attacked by wind as soon as the password was made. Sasuke was the first to walk out into sight. Kurami jumped out of a tree having avoided the wind. Sasuke told her to stop and asked for the password. She sighed and crossed her arms. She gave it to him perfectly as did Sakura when she came out. The three turned seeing Naruto but Kurami's eyes widened noticing the chakra. Sasuke and Kurami got into fighting stances. "What's the password?" The Naruto gave it perfectly and Kurami threw a kuni at him. Sakura panicked and looked at Kurami. "What did you do that for!? He just gave the password perfectly!" Sasuke nodded. "That's the problem. Naruto wouldn't remember that in a thousand years. You'd have a better chance teaching it to a hamster." Sakura agreed and the fake smirked releasing the jutsu. "How clever. Now, why create something so complex if you knew your teammate wouldn't even remember it?" Kurami smirked answering for Sasuke. "It's simple. It wasn't for us. It was for anyone who was listening." Sasuke's eyes widened seeing that she had caught on so quickly. The grass ninja chuckled. "I would expect nothing less from the great Kurami Uchiha. She glared at the grass ninja. "What are you talking about?" The woman hummed in amusement. The moment was killed as the woman threw paper bombs at them. Kurami's eyes widened and she looked at her teammates. "Run you idiots!" The two looked at her with shock but took off. Kurami almost left to late and was almost caught in the explosion. They all landed on a branch where the woman jumped on a branch in front of them. The woman smirked at them pulling down her lower eyelid casting a genjutsu. The jutsu however didn't phase Kurami. Kurami turned and grabbed her teammates seeing they wouldn't move as the woman threw kuni at them. Kurami hid them behind a tree and grabbed Sasuke by his shoulders. "Sasuke come back to earth. Don't let something like that get you." Sakura grabbed Kurami's arm shaking her violently causing Kurami to look over at her. Kurami's eyes widened seeing a huge snake. The three jumped away from the snake as it bit down on the branch they were once on. The snake took off after Kurami and Sasuke as they had jumped away together. She grabbed his hand stopping him from flipping out and instantly began forming hand signs. She blew a fire ball at the snake burning it. The duo landed on a branch next to each other and the woman smirked at them. Kurami left Sasuke and took after the woman. She was led into a Tijutsu fight where Kurami had managed to get behind the woman and kick her in the side sending her flying into a tree. Kurami took out a kuni as she lunged at the woman. Kurami was met with a tree as the woman summoned a snake and took after Sasuke. Kurami stood by watching how he would handle the sittuation. She smirked as she saw Naruto jump in front of the snake and taunt Sasuke. Which managed to set something off in Sasuke's head. Kurami frowned seeing Naruto taken down by the woman. She jumped out of the way as Sasuke began his attack. She smiled softly watching him. When he landed next to her and set the woman on fire Kurami was very happy. However all good things must come to an end right? Their eyes widened seeing the woman's face peeling off. Kurami put a hand over her mouth in shock. Sasuke took a step forward as she shouted at the now man. "Who are you?!" The man chuckled at them moving forward releasing himself from Sasuke's wires. "My name is Orochimaru." He looked at Kurami with a look of interest. "My my, now why didn't I notice this sooner? Could you perhaps be her?" Kurami narrowed her eyes at Orochimaru. "I don't know what you're talking about." Orochimaru smirked chuckling. "Of course you don't." He looked at Sasuke and created a hand sign. Kurami moved to shove Sasuke out of the way but was to late as Orochimaru bit him. She caught him as he fell to his knees crying out in pain. She gently set him down and began making fast hand signs. Orochimaru stood and watched with interest. Kurami's hands turned a soft blue and she looked at Sasuke sadly. "Forgive me Sasuke. I cannot take away the pain, but I can put you at rest for now." She put her hands on the sides of his face. The jutsu instantly knocked him out and she grabbed him before he could hit the ground. "We shall meet again. Lady Uchiha." Kurami's eyes widened as she looked at Orochimaru while he sunk into the tree. Sakura jumped over to the two and sat down on her knees next to Kurami. "I'll ask questions later, but what do we do now?" Kurami looked up at her. "You take Sasuke. I'll go get Naruto. We'll have to find some kind of shelter for now." Sakura nodded and the two girls took off with the boys.
