Next day
The school day went the same as every other day with one difference, I was somewhat cheery all day.
And the reason being is that I'm interested in what Toby has planned.
The final bell rings and I eagerly get out of my seat,
I quickly walk to my locker with the girls following behind me.
"You feeling alright Spence?" Aria asks again, they've each been asking me all day.
"Yes I'm fine why?"
"Cause you're happy" Alexis simply says
"So when I'm pouting you guys want me happy and now I'm happy and you guys are questioning it. Do I have to double check my emotions with you guys every morning?" I say snarky
"No Spence you don't, we are all just happy that your happy and wish to know why, but the reason doesn't matter as long as you're smiling" Jenna says and the others nod
"Okay" I mumble
"So Wanna hang out?" Emily asks
"I was thinking we could go to the grill then bowling!" Hanna smiles
"Umm. I can't. I have plans" I shrug as I take the what I need for homework out of my locker and place it in my bag.
"Oh you do? Are they family plans?" Mona asks
Alexis shrugs "not to my knowledge"
"No not family plans"
"So what are you up to?" Aria asks
"I don't really know it's sort of new" I admit
And I see Alison smirk "oh so it's something with your boy toy"
"Boy toy?" Mona questions, Aria and Emily looking at me.
I roll my eyes "it's just a dude that goes to our school. He takes pictures at my support group" i shrug, "it's nothing really"
"You didn't tell me you guys had plans" Jenna says
"You didn't ask" i say, a small smile on my lips. "I have to go" i say before leaving, the girls making teasing comments as I walk down the hall.
Toby
I smile when I spot Spencer exit the doors.
Though nerves fill my body and i feel extremely anxious, i have to admit they don't last as long with her, like it's easier to be me.
"Hey" she smiles as she walks towards me.
"Hey" i return the smile "ready?"
"To go on this mystery planned fun you have" she chuckles "yeah"
I smile "alright, let's go then"
We get into the car and I pull out of the driveway
Spencer chuckles at her phone.
"What's so funny?" I question.
She looks at me before looking down. "Nothing, my friends are just delusional"
"They make you smile, clearly their very smart if they can do that" I nod
Spencer
I blush slightly "that sounds like something Emily or Hanna would say" I laugh
He shrugs "tell me more about your friends"
"Well, there are 8 of us including myself and my twin"
