Chapter 7-Edited

Toby

I get out of the shower, dressing rather quickly.

I gather my stuff and walk to my room, closing the door behind me.

I sit on my desk chair, picking up my phone to call Spencer.

Jenna

"Is that her phone ringing?" I smirk at Alison

"It is indeed" she says and from her tone I can she's smirking too.

"Hello?" Alison says

"Spencer?" Toby responds, Alison putting him on speaker.

"No it's her cousin Alison. I'm sure you've heard a lot about me"

"I did actually" he chuckles awkwardly.

"Ouu! How bout me? I'm Jenna" I say, hoping she talks about me too.

"Also good things" he responds just as Spencer starts to wake.

"Oh sleeping beauty has awaken" Alison smirks

Spencer

"Who's that?" I ask as i notice they are on my phone.

I realize Toby was supposed to call.

"Give me that!" I yell and they laugh handing me the phone.

"Hello" I say into the phone.

"Hey" Toby' s voice chirps "how are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling good actually"

"Yeah" he mumbles "well I wanted to say I'm really sor-"

"It's not your fault Toby" I tell him "it's nobodies fault. My mom's just mad cause for the first time since I got sick I had fun. She thinks I'm over-exerting myself but really what i was doing was letting my body shut down. And because it was shutting down whatever i do is weird and my body isn't use to it so it tries to shut down still. I don't care what she says. We're still finishing whatever list of activities you made. I'm enjoying however much time i have left"

Toby

I smile, happy to hear she doesn't blame me and happy to hear she's not giving up.

"That's great Spence" i say into the phone.

1 hour later
Spencer

"Hey listen I'd love to continue talking but my sister just came back, she was away for a while on a school trip. It was literally was a month away from home. I forgot what she was doing there but she just got back" he chuckles

"Oh that's fine. Is she your older sister?"

"Yeah. She's a year older"

"That's cool. Okay go, have fun. It was nice talking to you. See you later"

"Yes it was. Talk to you later Spencer. Bye" he says and i hang up, smiling as i put my phone down

"Boyfriend?" Melissa smirks.

"Better not be. You're not allowed to date, you're too young" Jason states.

"Um. We're the same age and i have a Boyfriend" Alexis says and i laugh

"Plus I've dated before.... Alex hello"

"Oh right him" Jason says and we all laugh

"How are you feeling?" Melissa asks as Alison and Jenna walk in with food.

"Better actually. where's mom?"

"Went home" Jason mumbles "she wanted you to have space."

"Oh.. That's fine anyway" I shrug as i say my food.

"You're getting released later on"

"They said around 8. So thats soon"

"An hour and 15 minutes"

"Yeah enough time to tell us about this new guy" Alexis smirks and i roll my eyes.

"It's not some terrific love Story. It's not even love it's friendship"

"Yeah whatever" Alison rolls her eyes and i shake my head, telling the story abiut how Toby and i met and what we are doing together.
