"She lives" Toby smirks as i approach him waiting by my locker.
I shake my head with a smile on my lips "it's been 2 days Cavanaugh... Wow can you really not live without me?"
"Ha Ha very funny"
"Ithought it was" Jenna Chuckles causing both Toby and I to turn to her seeing her standing with Alison, Alex, Aria, Emily, and Hanna.

I freeze, noticing how many people were really watching me
Spencer and I have gotten closer talking more on the phone these past few days so I've gotten closer to her, but her friends not so much. Jenna doesn't make me uneasy something about her calms me, but the others make me nervous, not because I think they are rude or anything that's just how it is.
"Really guys, spying now?" Spencer rolls her eyes as she begins to open her locker
"sorry where we interrupting something? Cuz we can come back" Allison Smirks and I gulp
"I.... I-uh.. I'll talk to you later" I mumble before looking at the floor "Bye" I say before walking off
"stupid" I mumble to myself as i mentally face palm.
I still haven't told Spencer, it's lame and she doesn't need to know. Though my sister thinks it'll make her feel closer to me and that she is not the only one with problems but I rather not. She doesn't need to know that I'm suffering with anxiety and I'm slowly dying, she has her own problems to deal with.
I turn the corner and run into Ben the school jock, or as I call him the school jerk
"where you off to nerd?" He asks blocking my way.
" class I'm going to be late" I mumble, hating that my anxiety has this hold on me
"Awe the little boy doesn't want to be late" he Chuckles as his friends laugh along " you were talking to Spencer Hastings?"
"Yeah so?"
" Yeah so? Is this guy joking" he chuckles looking back at his friends before looking at me and pinning me on the wall. "she's my boys girl so don't even try to get with her. Spencer would never settle for you and she's with Alex so get that in your head"
" last I checked Spencer doesn't like you" I start, finding a bit of confidence "also she broke up with Alex so she is not his and we are just friends there's nothing wrong with that I'm not trying anything. So go get a life"
He tightens his grip around my neck "don't get smart with me boy"
" so you like to attack people but don't like when they fight back?"
Just then he punches me in the face, my right eye to be exact, causing my eyesight to go fuzzy and feel swollen as well as i feel blood drip downing cheek.
" let him go Ben" a girl says I turn to see Jenna
He laughs "look the blind Mouse is here to save the day" his boys laughing along
" Jenna just go to class" I spit trying to breathe.
she walks closer instead "Ben leave him alone"
"and who's going to make me?" he smirks
"I will" Alison States, showing herself now,
Ben rolls his eyes "don't tell me you're defending him"
"any friend of Spencers is a friend of mine put I'm down"
Ben let's go and steps away making me stumble, I cough trying to catch my breath
