"Come on slow poke!" He calls, opening the door,
I jog lightly to him and he puts his hand on my back as we enter.
"I've never done this before" I admit to him.
"Really?"
I nod "I've only ever done laser tag. But that was before the whole Jenna thing"
He nods "well, this'll be fun don't worry" he smirks
"Or really painful" I add and he nods again, "great"
He chuckles, "come on Spence let's play."
I begin to suit up.
Toby on the blue team with me on the red team.
Luckily there were people waiting to go in so we got to join them.
"Ready to lose Hastings?"
"Sorry, I can't hear you over the cheers for the red team" I smirk and he laughs
"3.....2....1!" The sign above the door counts down before it opens.
We run in and start on our sides before a voice yells 'begin'
I stay behind the pillar I'm at while most of my team run out.
There are 8 of us on both teams.
I peak my head out to see a blue team member with their back to me and I take this time to shoot.
"Oh for fuck sakes" he groans as he walks off, sitting on the side.
I chuckle, wow first time playing and I'm the first one to get someone out.
I quickly hide back behind my pillar and duck, running to a next one.
People already saw me there so being in a new spot will work.
"Watch out!" Someone on my team calls,
I turn around to see a blue team member aiming the gun at me,
When she shoots I dodge causing the paint to hit the little mirror there and hits her.
"You're fucking kidding me right!" She yells before walking off
"I like this game" I smirk before running off to hide behind another pillar.
Toby
"Behind you!" I tell someone on my team.
They duck as I aim my gun at the person in the red uniform.
I look around and sprint through the place I am in to get to the other side.
People aiming at me but missing.
I spot a red team member with their back to me and I shoot them.
"Ugh! Really man" she groans and I chuckle a bit.
"Nice aim" I hear a familiar voice tell me
"Thank you" I nod as we both move over to a pillar, hiding.
"I've gotten 2 people out already" she smirks
"That's great"
She nods and laughs "I like this game"
"I can see that, but you should run, or,I'd have to shoot you"
"You'd never" she smirks before running off.
"Oh... I meant to say, thanks for today, I needed this" she says to me when she runs back over, kissing my cheek before running off again.
I smile to myself, happy I could make her happy.
