I'm Having HIS Baby!

Part 9

"What is this?" I asked stepping closer towards Alex.

"Mollie, I don't want you to feel like I'm only with you for the baby because I really do have feelings for you and I didn't know how to tell you so I have been planning this for you" He said gesturing to the bunting that said be mine on it.

"Alex-"

"No let me finish, I want you to be my girlfriend not just the mother of our child" He said as he placed a hand on my stomach.

"I'd like that but I might not be pregnant yet" I said as tears filled my eyes.

"Congratulation's" Nurse Foster proudly announced.

"But- but I haven't even given you the urine sample" I said confused.

"Oh darling we had to get rid of you for 2 minutes some how" She giggled, causing me to join in.

We left shortly after, she gave me some leaflets and some vitamin's to last me until we go for our first appointment and get them prescribed to me.

"I'm going to be a mum" I whispered to myself in the car ride home.

"Your going to be an amazing mum" Alex said in response causing me to smile.

We entered Ebony's house and the familiar sound of laughter echoed through from the kitchen, they didn't know about mine and Alex's deal, but to be honest the money didn't matter to me anymore I just wanted to build a good family for when the little bundle of joy arrives in 9 months. We made up a story of how we met a few months ago in a bar and have been really good friends since but recently got together and unexpectedly I ended up pregnant, Yes we missed a few details out of the real story and added a few fake ones but its not all lies.

"Hey guys" I announced as I entered the kitchen followed by Alex, they knew we were together but when we told them it wasn't actually true but now it is so that doesn't matter.

"Hey where have you been?" She said focusing her attention on us.

"I had an appointment" I shrugged as I grabbed a glass of water.

"Why are you sick?" She asked jumping to the worst.

"No, I'm not sick, why do you always assume the worst- if anything I'm better than ever".

"How so?" She said eyeing me for any signs that I was lying.

"Were having a baby!" Alex blurted out causing all eyes to snap at him.

"WHAT!" She shouted giddily, I was so tempted to strangle Alex because we decided not to tell them in the car on the way home but I guess the idiot forgot.

"Whoops" He said shyly.

"Mollie, this is amazing news!" She said as she hugged me.

"We need a little chit chat" She said as she pulled me out of the kitchen by my arm.

"I didn't know you two were like a serious thing"

"Well we weren't planning on having a baby anytime soon but things happen"

"Wait the most important thing about this is- is he good in bed?"

"Eb! Ew I'm not talking about my sex life with you" I said as I slightly slapped her arm.

"I'm glad your happy Moll"

"I am" I smiled. I was really happy, because everything happens for a reason so this was definitely happening for a reason.

I decided to spend the night at Alex's apartment tonight considering were a couple now and have a baby on the way so probably had a lot to talk about. As soon as we got in we went straight to his room and I got into bed considering I was really tired. He sat on the edge of the bed beside me and looked at me about to say something but he stopped himself.

"What's up?"

"Please don't freak out when I ask" As soon as he said this I began to worry.

"Alex" I said nervously telling him I wanted him to continue.

"Well my mum and dad called and asked me to go round to their house tomorrow night for an arranged marriage thing" My breath got caught in my throat and I quickly sat up.

"Don't worry I told my mum that I have a girlfriend but now she umm-"

"She what Alex?"

"Wants to meet you, and I know that she is going to try and do everything in her power to turn you against me and my family" A frown appeared on his face as he said this.

"I'm sorry" I didn't know what else to say.

"Don't apologise... but we are going tomorrow at noon for some dinner, my mum and dad and my sister will be there, I'm going to tell them about the baby and if they don't approve then its fine because I don't need them if I have you."

He took off all his clothes and lay in just his boxers and gave me one of this over sized t-shirts, we lay in his bed and I had my head on his chest listening to his heart beating. I looked up at his face to see that he had fallen asleep, and my god did he look cute. After a few moments I followed Alex's direction and was also fast asleep in his warm embrace.
