I'm Having HIS Baby!

Part 23

It's the 10th of October and Alex's Birthday is tomorrow but since its a Saturday and he isn't here, I decided to throw him a little surprise party for his birthday a day early. Plus its going to be the last party we throw living in this house so it has a special place in our hearts.

I texted his family telling them the address and the time, along with his friends, I sent Ryan a message asking him if he was in contact with any of his old high school friends which he said he was so he has invited them to come as well. I made a little area and decorated it in the kitchen so that he wouldn't see it when he first walks in.

The plan was that me, Lola, Harry, Kat, Mick and Hannah would all sit in the living room so that when he comes home he would see us all sat down in there. We would hide all of the guests in the kitchen so that when we send him to make us all a drink he will get a big surprise.

"Mollie, you can go upstairs and get ready we will sort the rest of this out for you" Kat said ushering me up the stairs.

I didn't dress up too much because I didn't want him to suspect it when he walks in. I decided on a plain black body con maxi. I straightened my hair and put it into a pony tail pulling down the bits at the front and giving it the messy look. For make up I didn't do a lot because I was too drained. I simply put on some concealer, mascara, highlight and lipstick.

Hey baby, I'm coming home now, do you want me to pick anything up from the shop on the way? xx

So he decided on coming home earlier than I expected.

I would really love some Ben and Jerry's xx

Alex

Okay be about 20 minutes xx

I quickly made my way downstairs.

"Guys he is going to be here in like 20 minutes!" I shouted waddling into the kitchen only to see everyone staring at me.

"Never mind everyone is here already" I laughed nervously.

Everyone continued talking and the time was getting closer so, me, Lola, Harry, Kat, Mick and Hannah made our way into the living room after telling everyone to get into position and be quiet.

Luckily it wasn't long after this only like 5 minutes before Alex pulled up outside. He got out of the car and made his way towards the door. He walked in and saw us in the living room and began to walk towards us.

"I got you your ice cream babe" He said holding up a bag.

"Oh, I'm not really in the mood for it right now... Could you put it in the freezer for me?" I lied.

"Seriously, you made me stop off for ice cream that you don't even want?" He rolled his eyes.

"Fine I will have it now but you can go and get me a spoon" I said forcing him into the kitchen.

We all got up and followed after him to the kitchen, He opened the kitchen door.

"SURPRISE" Everyone shouted.

He turned and looked directly at me and I smiled which he returned.

"Well it is definitely a surprise I will give you that" He said laughing.

Everyone took there turns saying happy birthday to Alex. He was stood with some old friends from high school catching up on everything they had been doing in there lives since the last time they saw each other.

I sat with Charlie at the kitchen table helping her draw and colour in the pictures she had brought with her.

"Mollie?" She said looking sad.

"What's wrong darling?"

"You know when you have Lolly"

"Yes" I said trying to hold my laughter.

"Well, I wont be the baby anymore and everyone will forget about me wont they?" She said with her eyes filling up.

"Come with me" I said taking her hand and leading her upstairs to the nursery.

"Listen to me, when this baby comes which will be very soon, you have to be ready to take on a new job which is very important"

"A new job?" She said wiping her tears.

"Yes you are going to be her big cousin, which means that you have to look after her and teach her everything you know" I said trying to comfort her.

"So I'm like her second mummy?" She said.

"I mean that's one way to describe it" She was smiling loads now and it felt good to know that I made her feel happy.

"Thank you Mollie, I really do love that your Alex's wife, because he has never let me meet any of his girlfriends before because my mummy said they were all slags" This made me laugh until I felt a liquid running down my leg followed by a sharp stabbing pain in the lower part of my stomach. I let out a small whimper.

"Mollie" Charlie said coming to help me.

"Charlie I need you to go and get Alex, tell him its an emergency" She did as I said and ran down stairs to tell Alex.

"Alex" She said pulling on his leg.

"What's up Char?" He said picking her up.

"Mollie wants you she is up stairs" he put her down and said he would go in a minute.

"Charlie where have you been?" Her mum asked her.

"I was upstairs with Mollie but she had a wee wee and then started crying, so I came to get Alex but he is busy" She said.

Footsteps finally began coming up the stairs after what felt like hours.

Alex ran in.

"Oh Moll, I'm so sorry... I have called an ambulance it wont be long now" he said rubbing my back.

"It hurts so much" I cried clutching my stomach.
