I'm Having HIS Baby!

Part 17

Alex was working today, so by the time I had woken up he was already gone. I was meeting Jessica and Ryan today in a coffee shop near Alex's work, this way he could come see us on his dinner break.

I decided to wear a pair of black ripped knee mom jeans with a white maternity body suit top, my ugg boots and my oversized black denim jacket. I lightly curled my hair so that it was more waves than it was curls. For makeup I decided to put a bit of effort in considering how stunning Jessica was. Started with foundation then went onto concealer, then tried to make my chubby face more defined with contour, added bronzer and some blush, did a nude Smokey eyeshadow, coat of mascara, eyebrows, highlight and finally settled on my velvet teddy lipstick from mac.

It felt so different looking in the mirror and seeing myself in makeup because I hadn't worn it in so long. I ordered a taxi because I struggled driving with an 8 month belly.

Hey babe I'm in the taxi now on my way to the coffee shop to meet Jess and Ryan, so during your diner break do you want to come see us? xx

Alex

Sorry babe I'm quite busy but there's a ball tonight so if you want to come you can? xx

Me

Oh I'm not really dressed for a ball xx

Alex

Use the card, remember the money I owe you for our little deal, buy a dress preferably white... meet me once you have finished shopping get your hair, nails, makeup, whatever you want done get it and then come to my work and come up to my office while I get ready you can wait here and we will go straight from here, Ask Ryan and Jess if they want to come I'm sure my mum would love to see them. xx

By the time I had finished my conversation with Alex, I was already at the coffee shop, I paid the driver and then went inside. I was the first to arrive so I ordered myself a hot chocolate considering I cant drink coffee being pregnant and all and sat down in on of the comfortable booths. Shortly after I was joined by Jess and Ryan.

"Hey guys" I said they replied with the same.

"So quick question for the two of you... there's a charity ball tonight, Alex's mum is going to be there, so he said it would be nice if you guys came with us"

"We would but were not dressed for a ball" Jess stated pointing out there casual wear.

"I know neither am I but I have my card and it has quite a bit of money on it that I'm not using unless its for something stupid like this, so I'll pay for everything, hair, nails, makeup, clothing, the whole thing just please say yes?"

"We can't let you spend all of your money on us" Ryan interrupted.

"Well its not exactly money that I've worked for, lets just say I had a little bet and I came into this money so I would really like to be able to treat you" They both sighed and I knew I had won.

"Yay! Lets go shopping then".

Alex's point of view:

"Hey Ryan" I said as he answered the phone.

"Yo brother, how can I help you?"

"Well you see, I'm planning a surprise for Mollie, and since your meeting her today anyway I need you to keep her distracted until 5:30 so I can make sure that everything is ready, and then when I send you the text saying that I'm ready I need you to bring her to my work and up to the office"

"Okay but am I allowed to know what this surprise is?" He asked.

"The less you know the better, wouldn't want you to accidently tell her what's going on"

"Okay well I guess I will see you later then"

"Thanks bye".

"Hey son" My dad greeted.

"God I'm so fucking nervous"

"Alexander language!" Obviously my mum had to walk in at the wrong time.

"Sorry mum" I smiled.

"Good, now I've brought what you asked and I have sent out the message you told me to send, I also have a little surprise for you" Mum said walking towards the door.

"Surprise?" I questioned.

When she opened the door, a sudden wave of happiness washed over me, 2 people I haven't seen for years, 2 people who I love with all of my heart, 2 people who I aim to make proud.

"Gran, Pops" I said in pure shock.

"What you didn't think we would miss it did you?" A smile spread quickly across my face as I pulled them into a hug.

"Anyway more importantly when do we get to meet your special lady?" Gran asked me.

"Soon" I laughed.

"She better gain my approval" Gran giggled.

"Lets just say she must be something special if mum likes her, but trust me when I say you'll love her".

We talked for a while and had a catch up, but I didn't tell them about the baby because I wanted it to be a surprise for them.

"Okay enough chit chatting! We have to get this place ready we only have 3 hours".

Mollies point of view:

I had bought the dress and we went to the salon, where I put the dress on before having my hair, makeup and nails done. We may have forgotten shoes so we had to go back to the shops to find a pair of 'sensible' shoes as Alex would say, but for once I would agree because these balls can go on for hours so heels wouldn't be the best idea.
