I'm Having HIS Baby!

Part 15

2 months later.....

I lay staring at Alex who was currently asleep next to me, He looked so peaceful and I felt so lucky to be able to say that he is mine and he loves me.

"You finished?" He murmured.

"Finished what?" I asked innocently.

"Checking me out while I sleep- talk about creepy" He chuckled.

"Am I not allowed to admire my soon to be husband?" I pouted as I flicked his chest.

"Of course you are baby... anyway I've booked the day off work for your appointment so what do you want to do all day?" He said as he brushed my hair behind my ear.

"Well appointments at 2 so we could go for brunch and then after the appointment we could do some shopping?" I suggested.

"Perfect sounds like a plan" He nodded kissing the tip of my nose.

"Okay well I'm going to go and have a shower" I announced getting up from the bed.

"Oh can I come" He asked cheekily with a wink.

I continued walking towards the bathroom door.

"Hurry up then" I whispered sexily as I blew him a kiss.

We had a bit of a heated make out session in the shower but at least we saved water by showering together. I dressed in a pair of leggings and a cute jumper I had bought from a website I found on Instagram, I matched this with a pair of white slide on pumps. Without the energy to do my hair I just scooped it up into a messy bun and pulled a few stray strands of hair down to save me from looking bald. My skin had the fresh pregnancy glow so I didn't bother with makeup but I did quickly coat my lashes in mascara ad put on a nude/purple liquid lipstick and added a little highlight because who doesn't love a good bit of highlight.

We couldn't decide on where to eat so we ended up at subway considering it was already 12:30 so basically lunch time anyway. Once we had eaten we went straight to the hospital for our 7 month appointment.

"Mollie" Alex said signing me in at reception however I went straight and sat down because my feet were killing.

He sat beside me and held my hand stroking over it with his thumb.

"Alex Barton?" A male voice sounded.

"No way, Ryan Slater?" Alex said standing up and pulling this stranger into a man hug.

"What's a guy like you doing in a place like this" He said gesturing to the pregnancy ward of a hospital.

"I could ask you the same thing" Alex stated.

"Oh but I asked first-" He said telling Alex to explain.

A beautiful brunette ascended upon the two boys talking.

"Oh my Alex is that you?" She said taking in his appearance.

"Jessica" He smiled hugging her causing a jealous rage to light within me.

"How far along are you?" He asked her.

"Just gone my five month mark" She smiled happily caressing her small but noticeable bump.

"What are you doing here?" She asked nosily.

"Oh guys meet Mollie, This is my fiancé... Mollie this is Ryan and Jessica, they were my neighbours during my high school years, Ryan was my Best friend" I pushed myself up off the chair to greet them.

"Hi" I said awkwardly.

"I'm Jessica, Your stunning when did you meet Alex?" She asked sitting beside me.

"Oh thank you so are you and a while ago" I laughed.

"Thanks. How far along are you?"

"7 months and ready for this princess to come now"

"I didn't find out the gender of mine, sometimes I wish I did but I just really want a surprise"

Alex and Ryan were talking and same for me and Jessica, but that was soon cut short when Nurse Foster called us into her room.

"Bye guys, text us soon we have to meet up" Alex said as he excitedly pushed me towards the room.

"So guys this is going to be one of your last scans now before you meet your little bambino its going to follow the same procedure but we need to also discuss your birth plan." We both nodded.

I lay down on the bed and pulled up my jumper to reveal my big belly, She put the cold gel on and began to move the wand around creating an image of our little girl on the screen. We listened to the heart beat which was healthy and strong and I was weighed to see how much I had put on since we first came. After everything had been checked we went into a birthing room.

"Okay guys so have you thought about the birth?"

"We have... I want to have my first baby naturally, so if its possible I don't want all of the drugs and I really do not want to have a caesarean but obviously if it comes to it then I suppose that will have to be allowed" I stated.

"Well gas and air is available and most people can give birth off that alone, but painkillers depending on how long your labour Is going on for are recommended, Another natural way to give birth is in water" She explained to us.

"I don't think I want that for my first child"

"Well it is completely up to you, I should be able to make it to the hospital in time for you to give birth and so I can take over from any other midwives but in a case that I cant make it I will make sure that the midwife you have is one of the best".

"Okay thank you".

Me and Alex left the doctors office and went shopping, we ended up leaving the mall with bags upon bags of baby things most of which we didn't even need.

"Oh I forgot to tell you, Hannah is coming over later and so is Cameron" I sighed in response.

"Al I was hoping to go home and just sleep tonight"

"Sorry baby I should of asked you earlier"

"It's fine, but I'm not cooking... You can order in some take away" I said smiling at the thought of ordering in.

"Anything for you".
