Dustin Stone is a 15 year old High School Junior. He had black hair that hangs in his face from all sides and down the front, covering both of his eyes. He has two different colored eyes, one a crystal blue and the other a deep red. He's relatively skinny, only weighing 140lbs at 15. He typically wears very rugged looking clothes, like BDU pants and a tank tank top corresponding to the color of pants and combat boots. And that's because he's ripped as hell. And mean as hell. He doesn't trust anyone but his closest friends. (Which are all a lot nicer than him mind you)

Scarlett Radcliff is also a 15 year old High School Junior. She has light brown hair, with the occasional strand of blond, and her hair is ankle length and straight most of the time. Her eyes are a calm green with a goldish yellow near the middle. She is a popular girl at her school, being one of the prettiest there. But she's also extremely nice unlike someone we've previously discussed. She typically wears jeans and T shirts with whatever she has on them. And regular old sneakers. She's very trusting, and cares for everyone.

The two characters I have just described are part of a long story, one I hope you will enjoy.

Dustin was sitting in his classroom, staring out the window through his hair. He flipped his head, clawing the hair out of his face so he could get a better view of th surrounding area. He liked watching the scenery, it calmed him when he was pissed off at the world. Today was not a day he felt like talking to people, as he had gotten into a fight with his step dad this morning. So there he sat, lookin out the window, tuning out the world so he could be in his own little space.
Scarlett Radcliff was sitting on the far side of the same room as Dustin. She was playing a game of truth or dare with her friends while her 15 minutes before homeroom started.
"Alice, truth or dare." Scarlett said.
"Truth." Alice replied quickly, to nervous to take a dare.
"If you had to kill someone in this room to live yourself, who would it be?" Scarlett asked, genuinely curious to her answer.
"Dustin Stone. Easy. He's a total ass." Alice replied while rolling her eyes.
Dustin heard this from across the room, and made a "tsk" through his teeth. Not wanting to get out of his seat and confront the person who said it.
"Scarlett truth or dare." Alice asked in return.
"I'm feeling bold. Gimme a dare." Scarlett replied with a smirk.
"I dare you..." Alice said through her teeth while thinking. "To go ask Dustin on a date."
"I'm sorry repeat that?" Scarlett asked nervously.
"You heard me. Go on then." Alice said smirking.
Scarlett stood up and turned to the other half of the room, and hesitated for a moment. She had heard rumors if how scary this boy was, and how mean he can be. He heard a rumor he beat a kid to a bloody pulp that pissed him off. She slowly started walking across the room towards Dustins desk. She was extremely nervous because she knew she'd have to go on a date with him. Never had she been turned down by a boy. She walked up to his desk and tapped on the edge with a finger, and watched as he slowly turned his head towards her.
"What." Dustin said with a tint on annoyance in his voice. Scarlett was terrified, his voice was so deep and scary, but it was also very hot.
"Uh hi, your names Dustin Stone right?" Scarlett asked nervously, darting her eyes around to either side of him.
"What's it to ya." He said, getting more annoyed by the second.
"My name's Scarlett R-" Dustin cut her off.
"I know who you are. What do you want already." He said, starting to get angry. His hair was covering his eyes again so Scarlett couldn't read what kind of expression he had.
"Well... you see I was wondering if you might've wanted to go on a date with me?" Scarlett asked nervously, getting louder by the word, yelling the last few. Everyone in the room turned towards what was happening, and all of the guys in the room glared at Dustin with a rage. Dustin pulled the hair from his face and glared angrily at the room, making everyone turn away quickly, then turn back to watch what was happening but without the look. Scarlett examined his eyes while he had his hair pulled away, one was a diamond blue, and the other a deep, deep scarlett red. She found them beautiful.
Dustin turned back to her and dropped his hair, which resumed his position over both eyes.
"No." Dustin said annoyed. Scarlett went stone cold, had no idea what to do. She'd never been turned away by a boy before, and this one turned her away with annoyance. "You can go die for all I care."
"Hey! That's not nice! You shouldn't say those kind of things!" Scarlett yelled in his face. Dustin was now very angry and stood up. He towered over Scarlett, standing at 5'10 while she was only 5'3. Dustin looked down on her angrily.
"Ya wanna know something shrimp?" He growled at her while leaning down into her face.
"W-w-what...?" Scarlett was terrified. She had no idea what to do, her muscles felt stiff, as if she couldn't move.
"I'm not a nice person! I'll say whatever I damn well feel like!" He yelled into her face. Scarlett turned around and ran back to her friends, cowering behind Alice. Dustin looked around the room, everyone in the room was getting scared.
"Back off Dustin." It was one of the class students. His name was Eli, and he was the class rep. Dustin turned toward him, and swung his right arm towards him. But as he did an arm grabbed him by his bicep.
"Dustin. Don't do something your gonna regret." It was Tanner, one of Dustins friends. He didn't rival Dustins strength, but could keep up with him in a fight.
"Let go of me you dumb bastard." Dustin jerked his arm out of Tanners grip and turned towards the window. He opened it.
"Dustin don't do what I think your gonna do, last time you did that you almost died." Tanner says while hitting his forehead with his palm.
"Mind you own Damn business." Dustin says, and then swings himself out the window, on the fourth floor of the school. Many kids in the class rushed over to see if he'd killed himself, Scarlett included. She looked out the window, watched him fall as if he was in slow motion, and hit the ground as if he was in super speed. He only slightly missed the ground with his feet before dropping into a roll and flinging himself onto his feet. He popped his back and neck, then walked over to the big tree that was 20 yards from the window, and climbed almost to the top. And then just sat on one of the top branches and stayed there throughout the entire first period.
Scarlett would occasionally glance towards the area he was in, and would watch him for a minute before going back to her work. She had no idea why, but she knew she didn't like that kid.
