The large hand covering her mouth was suffocating, Scarlett barely managed to get enough air to stay conscious in through her nose. She was being pinned to the ground by a large man in his late forties.
He was a very large man, around anyway. He had a large pot belly, and thick arms and legs. He had greying hair, but the bits with color left looked either red or a light brown. His eyes were blue, but looked sick, almost crazy. He was holding her body down with one arm, and the other was over her mouth keeping her from screaming; and boy was she trying.
He had dragged her deep into a network of alleys and small side shops, which were all closed at the time. He eventually stopped in an area and threw her to the ground, holding her in place. And there they were, her trying to escape or scream or something, and him staring down at her with a sinister grin. He picked his lips and looked down at her as if she was some kind of doll.
"Your very pretty, i'd love to have a bit of fun, do you think you could just stop squirming?" He said quietly. His voice was slightly on the higher side, and sounded raspy and sick, horrific. She started squirming even more, trying to find some small way out of his bear grip. She heard a rattle as he released her body with his hand and stood him, squishing her into the ground with his foot, and undoing his belt buckle. She frantically tried to move now, but she couldn't scream, her voice was frozen in her throat. He leaned down and grabbed the front of her dress, and in one clean movement, ripped it clean off her body and threw it to the side. She laid there in her undergarments, shaking in fear, as he keeled down and licked the side of her face up and down, then began going down her body. He brought his hand up to her breast, and squeezed violently, sending pain up her body.
He began moving lower, and she finally found her voice. She let out a blood curdling scream of pure terror. The man froze a minute after slapping her and covering her mouth. He listened, but no sounds came. No help was coming for the scream.
"Sorry little lady, looks like nobody can hear you back here. I don't even need to cover your mouth. Scream and cry all you want, that just makes it even more fun." The man said with a sinister tone. He removed his hand from her mouth and she started screaming, which slowly faded to loud crying, and then just regular crying. He said his pants to his ankles.
"Help me...! Somebody help me...! Chris! Jackson! Alice! Dustin!" Scarlett cry yelled, she didn't want this. She was scared out of her mind. And before she knew what was happening the man was flying backwards and slamming into an alley wall.
Dustin was leaning against the wall, his head spinning. He'd leaned over and hurled twice now, and his head was swimming. The pipe the two guys as hit him with was broken, it has snapped after they'd swung it at his head and it broke over his skull. He had a bad concussion, a very bad concussion. He could hardly move at all. He felt sick, he was seeing shapes in his vision. He was half falling asleep when he'd heard it. The blood curdling scream of a woman. He knew that scream all to well.
He tried to move, but hardly could. Tired to stand, fell over again. Her managed to get onto his feet, and stood fast. But his head was spinning. He couldn't focus on one direction. He took a step, then another, then fell to the ground in a kneel.
"Pull yourself together dammit!" He yelled at himself. that's when he heard something that made his bones chill, and his blood run cold in his veins.
"Chris... Jackson... Alice... Dustin..." They were faint, and echoed off the walls of the alleys. He ignored the pain he felt and stood, turned in the direction his hearing picked the sounds up from, and ran as fast as his body would let him. He ran and ran and ran, following the sound of crying which got louder by the second. He turned a corner to be greeted by two people. An old guy, and Scarlett underneath him. Her dress had been ripped off and cast aside. She was screaming, and he was watching with an evil, sick grin. His pants were around his ankles, and Dustin quickly caught on to what was going on. He put on a burst of speed and cleared the distance between them in three steps, grabbed the man's shirt, and hurled him backwards with all of his strength.
She laid there frozen, unable to comprehend what had happened. Dustin had appeared out of nowhere and thrown the man against the wall. He looked terrible.
His head was swollen and bleeding, and the shirt he had was covered in dirt and ripped in multiple places. He was swaying on his feet, and could barely stand.
"Get out of here. Go find your friends." He said in a very hoarse, croaky voice. He coughed, and his hand came away red. She was about to protest when she realized how steady his voice was, even if it was croaky. And she ran, ran as fast as she could back towards the diner, dodging people who gave her weird looks as she ran by.
She busted through the door, and leaned down and threw up. Alice was immediately by her side, along with Jackson and Chris. And she told them everything. And then there was a loud bang from down the street, and Jackson and Chris shot each other nervous looks. They got up and ran out, following the sound. After Alice had given her a pair of shorts and a tank top that she had brought in case it was too hot, they ran out as well, Lizzi following behind.
Dustin had stood his ground for a few minutes in the fight, with the man being battered off by Dustins superior strength, but it had given out. Dustin was now against the wall, his head swimming, swaying on his feet. The man pulled something out of his back pocket as he straightened himself out, and an incredibly loud bang filled the alley. There was a sharp pain through his shoulder, and he fell to his knees, and then face first into the concrete. They man took off, completely disappeared, and he lay there, in the alley bleeding out.
The two people were there, Chris and Jackson, Scarlett's friends. And then Tanner was on the other side of him, 911 on his phone. He could hear them saying stuff, he knew they were, but what they were saying he couldn't make out. His hearing was leaving him, his sight going blurry. The last thing he heard was the crying of a little girl, and a flash of pink. The sirens of an ambulance, and then everything was dark.
