Dustin sat out his homeroom class in the tree. Staring out into nothing. But he could feel eyes on him every now and then. They would stare at him for about a minute and then he couldn't feel the presence anymore. He knew it was that girl, what was her name? Scarlett. Yeah her. He knew it was her. He scared the crap out of her really bad. He knew he did. He didn't care either. For all he cared she could be murdered in her sleep. Just one less person he had to be annoyed by.

Scarlett finished the homeroom class, and walked into the hall with Alice, her other friend going the other way, as she had a different class. They walked down the hall and began thinking about how many classes she had with Dustin.
"Oh man I have every class with that jerk." Scarlett said to Alice.
"I feel bad for you, I only have the same classes as you up to fourth period." Alice replies back. "He's a total jerk! I mean who would yell in a girls face like that? And who's crazy enough to jump from a fourth floor window?"
"Apparently that dumb jerk. All I know is I don't like him. He's really mean." Scarlett replied back. She really wanted to call Dustin a bastard, but she was known around school as the person that doesn't cuss.

Dustin climbed down from the tree, and began scaling the wall to the science room, which was his second period class. He had cooled off enough to be able to be in the presence of people. Tho he still didn't want to be. Science was his least favorite class, because it required you to be smart. And he wasn't smart. Not in the way he needed to be for that class. He was street smart, not book smart. Didn't study, spent more time fighting in the street. He looked into the window, only a few kids in there and the teacher was nowhere to be seen. So he pushed open the window.
Scarlett walked through the door to the room to see Dustin climbing through the window, and when he was through he plopped down onto a chair next to the window, leaned back in his chair and put his feet on the desk.
"Dustin. Catch." It was the guy from before, Tanner Meticana, one of the nicer people Scarlett knew. He was tall, standing about 6'0, and had long purple hair with blue highlights on the ends. He was toned, but didn't dress like Dustin did. And as was stated before, he was a lot nicer. He tossed a bookcase to Dustin, who caught it without even turning his had and set it on the desk.
"Thanks." He said flatly, not turning from the window.
"You owe someone an apology." Tanner said firmly, and this time he got a movement from Dustin, though not one you'd expect. He raised his hand and flipped off the general area Tanner was in, also flipping off Scarlett and Alice.
"I'm serious Dustin, you should apologize to Scarlett before I have to kick your ass." Tanner said firmly, leaning backward. Scarlett tugged in his sleeve.
"It's ok. He's just a jerkwad that doesn't know how to treat a lady." She said louder than intended. Dustins ears twitched, and he stood up.
"1...2...3 little bastards standing in a row. Which one do I beat to a pulp first?" He growled at Scarlett. She whimpered and cowered being Tanner, who stood his ground.
"Dont touch her." Tanner said firmly, with no waver in his voice.
"Your one of the three bastards too." He said and kicked off the ground, hurling himself at Tanner. Tanner pushed Alice and Scarlett out of the way and caught Dustins foot, which moves him back a few inches. Tanner grabbed his leg and swung Dustins body into the wall, his back hitting the wall and breaking a cork board that hung there. Tanner let go of Dustins leg and he fell to the ground, only to do a Chinese get up and crouch down.
Scarlett looked at his eyes as his hair flipped back and hung behind his ear. She looked deep into his scarlet eye, and could swear it was glowing red with anger. Dustin jumped, grabbing Tanner by his shirt, and punched Tanner in the face. The punch made a loud "Twack" as his fist impacted, and when Dustin let go of his friends shirt he fell to the ground and held his face.
"Dumb bastard. Look what you made me do." Dustin said angrily and wiped the blood from Tanners nose off on his shirt.
"What he made you do!?" Yelled Scarlett. She ran over and held Tanner up by his arm, he was clearly unconscious. "I thought he was your friend! You just knocked him out and gave him a bloody nose!"
"He's lucky I didn't do worse. How about you shut your trap you stupid Bitch." Dustin said, his red eye glowing, and a growl of anger in his voice. "He knows not to piss me off."
"Who beats there friends!? What's wrong with you!? Your a terrible person!" Scarlett yelled, as if she was the one who was hurt.
"Yeah I know. And ya know what? Dumb bitches like you constantly hurting me are the reason im a terrible person. So shut your Damn mouth." Dustin said, less angry and more hurt and sad. He dropped his hair back down in his face and walked out of the room.
Scarlett didn't know what to think about that comment, did he actually have a reason for being a jerk? What's happened to him? Tanner stirred in her arm, and slowly stood on his own feet.
"Im ok. This is nothing." He says calmly, and wiped his nose with his white shirt, leaving a line of red down the sleeve.
"Are you sure?" Scarlett asked worried.
"Yeah I'm good. Thanks for the concern tho." He says calmly and stands up, cracking his neck and knuckles. "Im gonna go sit down now."
Scarlett watches him go and sit down near the front of the room. Then she darted her eyes out the door, didn't see a trace of Dustin. She didn't see him for the rest of that day.
