God Girls Are Confusing...

Chapter 9

"Hey calm down Chris. He's here with me." Scarlett said quickly. It was obvious she was trying to avoid conflict.
"Quiet Scarlett." Jackson said sternly.
"You got a lot of nerve walking in here like you own the place, especially since you aren't friends with any of us." The black haired kid, Chris, said angrily.
"Then do something about it." Dustin said sternly and cracked his knuckles. Something glinted in the light from the small crack in between the curtains. Dustin was wearing a black ring, with a black cat on it. The cat was in a pouncing position, and it looked like a lynx. It also had green gems as eyes. It was a very pretty ring.
"Dustin calm down. This isn't why I brought you here." Scarlett said quickly.
"Whatever. I'm not in the mood for a fight today anyway. Bring my sister back to my house when your done." Dustin said with a sigh. He grabbed his long board off the wall he leaned it on, and went to step out the door. But an arm grabbed his shoulder.
"Come on Dustin, don't be like that." It was Tanner. His long purple hair pulled back behind his ear. He was wearing an OD green shirt with long sleeves, which had been rolled up and a white undershirt. Along with some nice jeans and cowboy boots.
"Whatever. Let me go." Dustin said, he was getting angry.
"Dustin come on, please stay." Scarlett pleaded.
"Tsk." He replied, and set the long board back against the wall. Scarlett sat down after the other two had, and sat Lizzi next to her on one side, then ushered Dustin over to sit next to her. Dustin walked over and pulled his phone out, then plugged his ear buds in and turned on some music. He turned on his rock playlist, and turned the volume all the way up. He shut his eyes and put hit feet up on the table in front of him, and allowed himself to relax. Then Scarlett was shaking his shoulder and he took a bud out of his left ear.
"What." He said without opening his eyes.
"Chris has a question for you." Scarlett said calmly.
"What." Dustin said, annoyed.
"How can that little girl with pink hair be YOUR little sister. I mean your an emo jackass and she's a cute little girl." Chris said normally.
"Dont ask me. I don't know. I'm the weird one out of the two." Dustin said flatly, then went to put the bud back in his ear, but Scarlett grabbing his wrist, which made him wince in pain again.
"Jesus stop doing that. What this time??" Dustin said angrily.
"Turn your music down. Your gonna blow out your ear drums." Scarlett said quickly. Dustin ignored her and put the bud back in his ear. Then switched songs. He was halfway through a song called War Nerve by Pantera, when someone poked him in the face. Dustin pulled his ear bud out.
"Either tell me who did that or someone here's gonna die." Dustin said angrily. The veins in his temple were literally bulging.
"Make sure if someone here dies its yourself." Jackson muttered. Then everyone at the table but Scarlett and Lizzi laughed.
"Jackson! Too far!" Scarlett yelled. Now she was angry. Then Dustin did something unexpected. He stood up, took a deep breath, then walked to the door.
"Fuck this I'm out. Bring my sister home later." Dustin said and then grabbed his board and walked out the door. Scarlett heard it hit the ground and his wheels scrape the ground as he started cruising down the sidewalk.
"Jackson that was way too far." Scarlett said angrily. She was flustered, and wasn't afraid to show it. "Both you and Chris need to go apologize to him."
"Your joking right? Apologize to that bully?" Chris said with a chuckle. But Scarletts expression didn't change. She was looking at them very stern.
"Fine. We'll go apologize." Jackson said with a smirk and stood up. He beckoned Chris to follow and they had a small whisper conversation in front of the door, and then left. Tanner gave Scarlett a look of uncertainty, but they both didn't do anything but wait.
Dustin was skateboarding down the sidewalk, his music blaring in his ears. Then suddenly he wasn't. Suddenly the was on the ground, his head spinning. He was being pulled into an alley by someone, someone holding a pipe and someone else holding nothing in one hand and his leg in the other. He couldn't look straight at all, but he could tell they looked familiar. One had brown hair, and the other had coal black hair. But he couldn't think straight either, and something warm was falling down the side of his head. The two men dropped him in the alley, then started hitting him with the pipe, and kicking him. One well placed kick hit I'm in the nose, sending a sickening crack down the alley walls. Then after that one left, and came back with his board. Then he broke it over his knee, and dropped the pieces next to Dustin's bruised body, which was laying in the alley, unmoving.
Scarlett was getting worried, they'd been gone for 20 minutes. Lizzi was getting worried too. Then Chris and Jackson walked through the door without Dustin.
"Where is he? Did you guys find him? Did you apologize?" Scarlett asked quickly. She had worry in her eyes.
"Didnt see him. He was long gone." Jackson said, shooting a look at Chris, who was smirking slightly. Tanner noticed the smirk, however small it was.
"Lizzi do you know your brothers phone number?" Scarlett asked Lizzi.
"I know it. Lemme call him." Tanner said quickly then pulled out his cell phone. He dialed Dustin's number, but it went straight to voicemail. "Thats not normal, Dustin's phone is never dead or off. I'm gonna go look for him."
"I'm going too. Alice do you mind watching Lizzi for me until I get back?" Scarlett asked while standing up.
"Nah I don't mind. I don't see why your making such a big fuss over him tho." Alice said and scooted over next to her.
Tanner and Scarlett rushed out of the small cafe, then split up a little after they started walking. Scarlett was looking through the Alleys when a hand grabbed her from behind, covering her mouth. Then the person holding her dragged her farther into the alley, holding her face the whole way. Scarlett tried to scream, but it was too muffled by the man's hands to be heard by anyone but herself.
