The Roadtrip

Chapter 6

Austin's POV

We were in the water and I was sitting there with Elaine, I felt that we were about to kiss.

I was pulled underwater.

I hear Elaine scream when I come up.

I start freaking out and looking everywhere for her.

But she was nowhere to be found.

I went up to the shoreline and quickly grab my phone and call one of my security guards.

I call my head security guard, Dillon. He is a very young man, literally. About my age.

But I call him and tell him everything that happened. I told him to find Elaine.

He asked for a picture, I got in Elaine's bag and pulled out the picture from the photo booth that we took earlier. I showed him and he asked if he could take a picture of the pictures or take them with him.

He decided to take a picture so that I could show anyone else and see if they have seen her.

He walked away, calling the other guards and telling them.

I was so freaked out. I don't think I have ever been in love with someone so fast, to have them disappear.

Was it something I did?

Was it something I said?

I don't know. But I want to!!

I have to find her!! And when I do, I'm never letting her go!! I hear Dillon screaming into the phone at who knows who. He was screaming, "Your ruined the whole plan!! you idiot!!!" But I told him to be quiet and call the police while I call her Aunt.

I got Elaine's phone and looked through her contacts to try and find her Aunts number.

I found it.

I quickly dialed in the numbers and waited for her Aunt Kate to pick up.

I waited for about 5 rings, then someone picked up.

"Hello?" She asked.

"Kate!! Oh My Gosh!!! You've gotta help me!! Me and Elaine are at the beach and we were messin around diving and jumpin into the waves and I got pushed under and I came up and I heard her scream and she was gone!! You gotta help me find her!!!!" I said quickly making myself out of breath.

"Hey!! Hey hey hey!! Austin calm down!! Start over and say it slower, I couldn't understand a word you just said. Now say it again, slowly. What happened to Elaine?" She said worriedly.

"Me and Elaine are at the beach and we were messin around diving and jumpin into the waves and I got pushed under and I came up and I heard her scream and she was gone. You gotta help me find her!!!! Please!!!!" I said more calmly.

"Oh my gosh. Umm. Well, I'm at the shop right now getting her trucks oil changed. Its right across the street from the beach. Just come over and I'll help you." She said calmly yet worriedly. I know she was trying I stay strong for me and Hunter. I know she was.

But I quickly got everything together and ran to the car. I put everything in the back and started running across the street while putting on my shirt.

Once across the street I saw Kate coming out with Hunter in her hands. I ra up to her and gave her a humongous hug with Hunter in between the both of us.

While we were hugging i thought about what Dillon said earlier on the phone, what he said about ruining th whole plan? that is making me think something was up with him.

When Elaine first saw him, I saw her back away a step or two and say thet we needed to get going.

"Wait." I said and felt Kate pull away with a confused expression.

"Im starting to figure some of this out." I said

"Figure out what? Where she is? Well don't hesitate!! Tell me, call the police!! do something!!" she started to raise her voice.

"Did you ever see any of Elaine's past ex-boyfriends? Any pictures, or did you meet any of em'?" I asked cautiously.

"I saw some pictures and met two or three of em'." She said curiously.

"Did you know any of their names?" I asked trying to get her to answer quicker.

"Yeah. The first one I met was Jason, the second one was Shane, and the last one and most recent ex-boyfriend was Dillon." She said.

I went wide eyed and turned around with the most angered look on my face.

"Dillon!!" I screamed.

He looked at me with a smirk on his face.

"Well it took ya long enough.." He said while laughing.
