It had been the best weeks of Adjo's life, he had done so much with his true love but all was nearing trouble. They sat on a sand dune watching the sun go down and Adjo said to Femi, "Femi, do why did you come into the palace when my father made you my servant?" She told him that she was looking for something she had lost, he asked her what it was and she said she had lost a valuable family treasure, it was a bracelet with her surname engraved on it. Adjo asked her if she every found it and she said yes, she told him that when she was walking to the dungeons with him on the first day she found it lying near some bushes and as she was walking past she grabbed it. Adjo then asked her why she hadn't told the pharaoh and she said that it was because she didn't want the pharaoh to take it as his if he wanted it. Adjo then understood that she was not a criminal but a young beautiful girl who didn't want to loose a piece of family jewellery. While Adjo was thinking a question he wanted to ask popped up in his mind and he decided it was the right time to ask her. He said to Femi "Femi, when the guard walked you in and my father said you were to be my servant for the rest of my life, why did you want to go to the dungeons rather, why didn't you want to work for me?" She told him that she didn't really want to do either but she had heard that the pharaoh let out people in a couple of weeks, only those who had done very petty crimes. Adjo then understood even more and asked Femi if she missed her family and she said that she missed them very much. Adjo then said to her "Femi I hereby grant you permission to visit your family for the whole of tomorrow but when the sun goes down you must be at the palace understood." Femi was so thrilled that she accidentally hugged Adjo, but quickly apologized for her actions.  Adjo said that it was very fine and that he would pretend this never happened. Then they walked back to the palace and they both went straight to bed. In the morning, Adjo woke up to a female voice it wasn't any that he had heard before. When he awoke he saw a adult woman servant standing in his room. She said she was sent by his father to tell him that Mesi, was here and she wanted to see him immediately, Adjo got such as shock that he fell out of bed. He immediately got up got dressed and walked very slowly downstairs, to his horror Mesi was actually there. He was panting so much from the shock. Sadly, Mesi heard him and raced up the stairs to grab him. She seemed much different she seemed very excited. He didn't want to be rude but he still asked her why she was so excited, she said that it was because they were getting married! Adjo fainted and when he awoke she said to him that she was kidding! He fainted again. when he awoke he saw her face again, she told him to stand up told him that she was excited because she got to spend the whole day with him. He fainted again. She slapped him in the face this time and told him to stop fainting. She then told him to eat some food and he felt better. He asked her if there was anything special she wanted to do and she said that she wanted to have a tour of his palace. He said he will do it and for him that was the longest hour ever in his life. As soon as Mesi saw Ako she asked who he was. Ako said he was Adjo's younger brother. Adjo tried to sneak away because the two were in a very deep conversation but to his horror he was grabbed by Mesi and had to stand there till there conversation was ended. As the day progressed, Adjo got even more depressed. As soon as it was dark he thought they were going to leave, but at the last minute they decided to stay the night. Mesi went to sleep in another room and as soon as she left, Femi walked into the room and asked Adjo if he was alright. Adjo told Femi about his entire day (and because she was his servant she listened to the whole thing). When he finished his story Femi said that she was very sad that he had had a terrible day and she said that she was very grateful that she had been let to see her family because they were very worried about her because they didn't know she had been working for him. They then said there goodnight's and they both went to sleep.
