The Second Confession

Their lips separated and they sat in awkward silence. Neither Adjo nor Femi knew what to say. Both shocked by what had just happened. They both looked around, to the left and to the right, behind and in front. Then Adjo got tired of this silence and said, "Femi, I know you are a slave and I am prince but I love you and I want you to be my girlfriend." Femi looked shocked she was so excited, what Adjo had just said took her breath away, she gasped and said should love to be. Then they looked around and hugged. Then they both went back to the palace, they would both of loved to hold hands but their were guards watching, they walked and no one suspected a thing. They went to Adjo's room and he and her resumed their amazing day by playing Jacks, which surprisingly was Femi's favorite game too, they both loved each others company and no one suspected a thing. Later that day Adjo went to the dining hall to eat dinner with his family, there he saw his happy mother and father, Seth and Mesi together (they were very happy too) and Ako seemed to have fell in love with a princess from another kingdom she seemed to be with him at the table, then there was Adjo he was sitting alone no loved one by his side but in his heart Femi was right next to him and he felt very happy. After dinner, he went back to his room and saw that Femi had gone down to her sleeping quarters he was fine with that and went to sleep so he could remember all that happened in the span of that entire day.

When he awoke he saw that Femi wasn't there but another young lady, he said to the lady, "Excuse me miss, but where is Femi?" They girl told Adjo that Femi was ill and that she was taking her place for the day. Adjo understood and in his head hoped that Femi would be alright. He then continued with his normal daily plans. He went down to breakfast and when he was done he went to his room and read a few scripts. Later, he went to school and learnt a whole bunch of stuff, he referred to as 'ridiculous knowledge that won't help in life' he then went to Ako and asked if he wanted to play Jacks, Ako said no because he was showing his girlfriend around Asyut (the girlfriends name is Tia). Adjo understood and didn't bug him anymore. When Adjo went back to his room he found a note, when he looked around he saw that the new girl was there and he wondered where that note came from. He picked up the note and read it in his head. The note said

"Dear Adjo,

I know you love me and I love you but our love is forbidden, I am sick and will return but I don't want our new relationship to be known by others. I will be killed and you will be punished. Please whatever you do don't hint that you love any girl or have a girlfriend for my sake and yours. When your done reading this burn it, burn it so no one knows of our love.

Love Femi"

Adjo sweared to himself that he would never tell anyone about his and Femi's love. When he looked at the bed again he saw there was another note. He quickly went to burn the first note and went quickly back to his bed so he could read it. The note said this,

"Dear Adjo,

I love you but I know you love another, they are probably royalty and so am I but I love you and I just want you for my own. I want to love you but the only thing stopping us is your heart, so don't let it tell you who you should love, use your head and love me instead. 

From your Royal Secret Admirer"

Adjo was shocked by all these letters, he loved Femi with no doubt but he was curious as to who was his secret admirer. He wondered and wondered he decided to hide the note so Femi didn't find out because then she wouldn't love him. He wondered what to do then he looked at the door and top his surprise his father was there looking at the note in his hand. His father asked his son what the note was and then his son didn't reply, he asked again but Adjo said nothing for he was shocked his father knew where his room was. His father then stormed up to him grabbed the note and read it. His father screamed with joy and told his son the story of his secret admirer who turned out to someday be his wife. Adjo was shocked and said he hadn't known. His father then said to him, that if he wanted to find out who this lady was he could do whatever it took to find her. Adjo thanked his father and thought to himself, how would Femi feel about this, he then decided not to tell her and hid it. He hid it where no one ever looks he hid it in his ...
