Michael has become my new alarm clock. Every morning at exactly 6:00, there is some sort of candy hitting my window and waking me up. It's only been four days since I met Michael, but almost every hour after school is spent with him.

As I'm in bed this morning, enjoying a faint dream, I feel something hit me in the head. I sit up and another is chucked at my head, making me look toward the window. On the other side, I can clearly see Michael laughing like a child. I scowl at him and he smirks at me.

"It's not my fault you forgot to close your window," he shrugs, defending himself. I roll my eyes and close my blinds, getting changed and running next door. I twist the handle and groan when the door doesn't open. I bang on the door loudly, yelling Michael's name through the door along with many insults before he finally opens it.

I slap Michael across the head lightly, mostly just hitting his hair. He laughs and drags me inside, pulling out the box of Lucky Charms and grabbing a handful. I look at him in disgust when he offers me the box, causing him to chuckle.

We jump in my car and ride to school quickly, exited for the new teacher we were getting that day.

"I can't believe Mrs. Fawn is pregnant!" Michael exclaims. It's all he talks about the entire way to school, which is why I tune him out. Instead I focus on the incredibly beautiful and expensive-looking car ahead of me. When we are close to the school, I am surprised to see the expensive car turn into the parking lot as well. I follow it to the front, taking the spot beside it and watch as Luke Hemmings climbs out of the car.

"Holy shit.." I mumble to myself. Michael slaps my bicep, laughing suddenly.

"Dude, are you checking out Luke?" the blue haired idiot laughs at me. I look at him and hit the top of his head like earlier this morning.

"The car you twat!" I say, faking offence. Michael raises an eyebrow at me.

"Sure Cal, I bet you're gayer than Tyler Oakley," he remarks and I roll my eyes.

"Says the kid with bright blue hair. You may as well be Tyler's lost lover from colourfully haired loser ville," I shoot back at him. Michael responds by pouting and I scoff at him as he crosses his arms like a 5 year old.

"Having colourful hair doesn't make me a loser, it makes me unique!" Michael states.

"Get out of my car you idiot," I laugh, pulling open my door and stepping out. Michael get's out after me and continues his statement.

"Plus, my hair is beautiful, and so is Tyler's. You're just jealous you can't pull it off," he says as we both walk towards the school. We walk in and separate to our separate lockers. I have go down the left hall, he goes to the right. I walk down the hall and arrive at my locker where I find Luke, who smirks when he sees me walking towards him.

"Hey Luke," I say, putting a smile on my face. I don't really think we're friends but I can at least be kind to him. He returns my smile and watches me as I open my locker, pulling out some supplies.

"Do you remember your first day here?" he asks me. I nod and wait for him to continue, "I remember too, we skipped to class together," he says and I chuckle at the memory; the silly way we linked arms and moved childishly through the halls.

"You haven't talked to me since," I tell him, closing my locker and looking at him. His smile falters.

"I invited you to ditch with me," he suggests. I shake my head at him.

"Doesn't count," I tell him as I see his face fall.

"What about the envelope?" he asks me. I raise my eyebrow at him, confused. "Don't you remember the one that was on your car? I even wrote your last name on it," he explains. Realization floods into my head as I remember the small envelope. I reach into my bag, trying to find it. Almost assuming that it's at home, I finally feel the crumpled paper at the bottom. I pull out the small envelope and Luke smirks at me.
