Matapos ang eight o'clock class ni Cassidy, dumiretso siya sa cafeteria para bumili ng pagkain. Sobrang gutom na kasi niya dahil hindi siya nag-breakfast kanina bago umalis ng bahay tapos nakakadrain pa ng utak iyong quiz nila kanina.

Pumila siya at umorder ng pancakes. She's really hungry. Magbabayad na sana siya nang may mag-abot na ng pera sa cashier.

"Ako na."

She looked up and saw Atom grinning at her.

"I'll pay her order and this energy drink." sabi ni Atom sa cashier. Sinuklian ito tapos ay walang sabing kinuha nito ang tray niya at inilapag sa lamesang medyo dulo na kaunti lamang ang tao.

"I'll pay for my pancakes." sabi niya kay Atom nang makaupo sila.

"It's okay. Mura lang naman iyan." sabi nito.

She shrugged. "Okay." sabi niya at nagsimulang kainin ang pancakes niya. She chewed her pancakes like she tasted heaven. God, she's so hungry!

"Is it that delicious that's why you're moaning like you're having an orgasm?" natatawang sabi ni Atom sakanya.

She glared at him. "Shut up."

"Patikim." sabi nito.

"Go buy your own."

"I paid for that."

"Wala akong pake." sabi niya.

"I don't know you're selfish, Cassie."

"Leave me and my pancakes alone, Atom. Gutom ako." sabi niya at nagpatuloy sa pagkain.

She heard him chuckle and didn't said another word until she was done. She burped a little after she drank her water.

"Sorry." sabi niya.

Atom smiled and leaned on their table. He wiped the side of her mouth which shocked her. "Cute."

Nagsalubong ang mga kilay niya at tinignan si Atom na ngiting-ngiti sa harap niya. "Are you flirting with me?"

"What if I said yes, will you flirt back?"

His reply left her speechless. So, he's really flirting with her? Okay, she perfectly knows Atom is a walking flirt pero iba ito sakanya. He's her friend, well.. sort of friend.

"Hey, I'm joking. Chill, Cassie." sabi ni Atom at sumandal sa upuan nito.

"Seryoso ka ba?" pagtataray niya rito.

Atom shrugged while drinking his drink.

"Atom!" she kicked his foot under the table.

"What?" he chuckled. "Kapag sinabi ko na oo, 'di ka maniniwala. Kapag sinabi ko na hindi, 'di ka rin maniniwala, so no comment nalang."

"Ewan ko sa'yo." irap niya rito.

Natawa muli si Atom sakanya. "Ano balita sainyo ni Nikolas?"

Her head turned to his direction when he mentioned his name. "Tsismoso ka pala."

"I'm not. I'm just starting a conversation with you."

"Then why are you asking about him?"

Atom's eyebrows shot up. "Then why are you dodging my question about him?"

Nakaramdam siya ng inis kay Atom dahil ang galing nitong ipitin siya sa mga tanong nito.

"Ask him." sabi nalang niya.

"Should I?" sagot nito at lumagpas sakanya ang tingin nito.

"Hey, Nikolas. What's up?" Atom greeted someone at her back then grinned at her.
