Too many scars
Visible like stars
Yet people didn't care
And I know it's not fair
They kept going in their ways
To not bother their days
They were looking for perfection
When they should've been asking for redemption
They wanted the artificial
So the judgment was official:
She wasn't worth their time
And even living was a crime
So with a hole in her heart
She was slipping in the dark
Her soul was bleeding
And her bones were creaking
Just like water in a stream
She lost her every dream
Like violin strings
Broken were her wings
It was such a shame
She took all the blame
Every time they had a strife
Or failed to thrive
She became stray
And for them she was the prey
She was stuck in a shroud
Made by that crowd
A scar followed by a thousand more
That are going to tore
Such a beautiful soul
Those scars that she hold
Have to much to be told
They are just like tattoos
But with better stories to use
Those scars mark a war
That shook her to the core
They tell how hard she fought
And the pain that was brought
With the loses she has taken
