Erik's P.O.V.

It's been about an hour and Sally continues to listen to me play on the organ and on my violin. While doing so, she sketches non-stop! I believe she's used up a whole forest! I set down my violin in middle of song and she looked up at me immediately with wonder why I didn't continue.

"Alright Sally, it's your turn I've been playing for an hour."

"But-but I can't sing..." Sally said

Seriously I thought while raising an eyebrow.

"You are a chorus member in an opera house for god's sake!" I said.

"Well I can sing, I will sound like a child compaired to you." She replied with insecurity in her voice. I walked closer to her and said in a soft, kind tone,

"I do not care about the quality of your voice. Sing." Sally sighed and slowly stood up and took a deep breath.

"Think of me

Think of me fondly

When we said goodbye,

Remember me

Trying to hard to put you from my mind..."

Ah, the aria from their upcoming performance. This girl obviously has a talent, but why is she so shy infront of me? When she finished her piece I applauded and her cheeks turned fiery red. Sally sat back down again looked at me for feedback with her cheeks still ablaze.

"That was wonderful, why were you so shy?" I asked.

"Well usually I'm not but your voice is so...grand and I felt a little embarrassed about my own voice." She answered.

"Don't compare yourself. When did you begin your training?"

"Um...I think I started at eight. How about you?" Sally said.

"I...um..forget." I actually don't remember my age at the time. We had a long boring silence before i asked,

"What did you draw?" I walked over to the table where Sally was sitting and studied the sketches. The pictures contained different scenes around the opera house, the audience view, ballerinas practicing, and a sketch of her, Meg Giry, and Christine. The three of them were on a stage, Meg dancing and Christine and Sally singing.

"What do you think?" She asked. I didn't answer immediately, I picked up the drawing of the three friends and simply stared at it. Christine looked so real and it felt like I was looking at the real her.

"Do mind if I keep this one?" I finalley said. She looked at me with a grin since she obviously knew I was staring at Christine.

"Sure you can Erik."

Sally's P.O.V.

A couple of hours passed and both realized that I should go to bed. As much as I hated the thought of leaving his musical wonderland it was true.

"Please can I stay?"I asked giving him my best puppy dog eyes. He sighed and said sure. Yes!

"But you must arise early for your rehearsal." He said. Ugh fine. I said goodnight and plopped into the weird swan bed. It's very comfy, but the idea of it is weird. A swan bed frame it's like I was suppost to sleep inside a giant bird. Like I said it's weird.
