Sally's P.O.V
Right a hiding spot....yes!
I scram to a rafter thing nearby the door. Christine and Raoul burst through, she looking pale and distraught and he worried and shaky. She looked as if she were to burst in tears and Raoul, being her lover, tries to comfort her.
"There is no Phantom of the Opera..." His lips said softly. He tried to reach out for her but she turned away instantly.
"Raoul I've been there! To his world of unending night, to a world where daylight dissolves into darkness....darkness. Raoul, I've seen him! Can I ever forget that sight? Can I ever forget that face? So distorted, deformed it was hardly a face in that darkness...darkness..." Christine answered disconsolately.
How cold. But as she grew pale, even though Christine was obviously scared of him I could see it in her eyes. There was something about Erik's darkness that touch her.
"But his voice filled my spirit with a strange, sweet sound. In the night there was music in my mind... And through music my soul began to soar! And I heard as I never heard before..."
"What you heard was a dream and nothing more... Christine...Christine..." Raoul said softly as he reached out for her.
"Christine..." Erik's quiet, mysterious voice breathed through the wind. Christine began to sob and Raoul embraced her in a protecting way. I honestly can't tell who's hurt more, Christine's terrified because she can't help but feel imprisoned and Erik is witnessing his love being with someone else while she insults his appearance. Well I can't really go anywhere without being caught so I guess I have no choice but to stay put. I really don't want to witness anymore drama! Raoul knew that his friend and love was slow drifting away, but he opened his mouth and began to sing,
"No more talk of darkness,
Forget these wide-eyed fears,
I'm here,
Nothing can harm you,
My words will warm and calm you." I gotta say your words are calming me right now. As Raoul sang Christine look as if hope was restoring her. She smiled and joined in,
"Say you'll love me every waking moment.
Turn my head with talk of summertime.
Say you need me with you
Now and always.
Promise me
That all you say is true.
That's all I ask of you."
"Let me be your shelter,
Let me be your light.
Your safe,
No one will find you,
Your fears are far behind you."
"All I want is freedom,
A world with no more night.
And you always beside me,
To hold me and to hide me." Christine looked more in love in that moment then she ever did before. She stepped closer to Raoul. And the crimson rose with the pitch-black ribbon, which Erik must have given her, that was once in her hand, fell through her fingertips and landed on the ground. Alone and forgotten in the cold winter snow.
