CARTERS POV

It's been a week since Calum's accident, and he's being released from the hospital. He hasn't gotten any of his memories back, but he's still the same, goofy Calum. My heart aches every time I see him. He's so close, yet so far away.

Luke arrives at the hospital, and we all walk out of the hospital together. After Calum is dropped off at his house with his parents, Luke and I head to his car. Before I get in, I take another look a Calum's house, and I begin to cry. Luke rushes over and engulfs me in his arms.

"Hey, it'll be okay," he says, trying to calm me down.

"No it won't!" I cry. "He doesn't even remember me. He doesn't remember me..."

Luke and I there for a long time. Finally, we pull apart and I wipe my eyes as I get in his car. He starts driving towards my house.

"I don't wanna go home," I tell him. My parents are gone again, and my brother is with my aunt, so I'm the only one home. "I can't be alone."

"Ok," he says and turns around, heading towards his house. When we get there, we both head inside. I take a seat on his couch, and he sits on the other side of the couch. We don't say anything, and I slowly make my way closer to him until I'm leaning my head on his shoulder, curled up as close as possible. He puts his arms around me and pulls me close. We sit in silence comforting each other.
