Pulling my hair back into a ponytail I smiled in the mirror. My sparkly red and White Jersey matched well with my black cheer shorts. We had to wear these around school. It had our names on the back. Mine said "Captain Alicia 01" Today was the day of the very first football game. Our school was big on sports. Football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse you name it our school loves it. There are two big groups amongst the jocks. The football players and the Lacrosse players. Although a lot of the football player play ball in the fall and join Lacrosse in the spring. Those guys are known as the alphas. Lacrosse is relatively new. They didn't have it when my parents went here. But a lot can happen in 17 year. In fact, in 17 year, our school has held the top position as the best Lacrosse team in the district and has won state championships for the past 8 years in a row. Along with our lacrosse team being the best so is our football team. We hold 10 national titles, enough said. We cheerleaders also hold a couple National titles. I earned my first one as captain last year, but three in total. Ready to make it four this year. Grabbing my cheer bag I walked downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Morning sweetie." My mom said as I walked in. She stood, leaning against the counter, drinking a cup of coffee.

"Hey mom." I said getting some coffee in my Victoria Secret's tumbler cup, adding a lot of caramel Macchiato coffee creamer and plopping some ice cubes in it. I filled my VS water bottle up with water before throwing that in my cheer bag.

"Who are you guys playing today?" She asked smiling

"The Hornets. " I replied taking an apple.

"Fun." She said before yawning.

"How's Aiden?" I asked about my younger brother. He's 6, 11   years younger than me.

"He's fine. He was up al night last night with a fever and a bad cough. I gave him some medicine, but it only worked for a little. He fell asleep around 3. I stayed with him in case he woke up again. It's only 7:30 now." She said checking her watch.

"I can stay home today and take care of him if you want. You should get some rest." I said walking up to her. She placed her hand on my cheek and smiled.

"No darling. It's lack of sleep is in the job description for a mother. Go to school. I'll be fine." She said before laughing.

"Ashely, have you seen my phone. I have a meeting with Jake in a half an hour and I can't find it anywhere." My dad yelled from upstairs.

"You're father looses everything." She whispered to me. "Jared sweetie your phone is in the top drawer of the shelf next to your bed under your magazine." She yelled back up to him

"Thanks my love." He yelled before going to find his phone.

"Dad would loose his head if it wasn't screwed on his body." I said before mom and I laughed.

"Lissy!" Aidan's little voice filled the kitchen. I turned to see my, sick, baby brother wobbling over to me. I scooped him up into my arms.

"Good morning buddy. How ya feeling?" I asked

"My throat hurts." He said looking up at me with those big brown eyes of his.

"Let's get you some orange juice." I said before putting him down on a stool and getting him his glass on orange juice.

"Thank you!" He said before taking a long sip.

"No problem. I really need to go. See you loser when I get home." I said kissing him on top his head. "See ya mom." I said before kissing her forehead. I walked out the kitchen passed by my dad on the way. "Bye daddy." I said kissing him on the cheek.

"Bye Alicia. Have a wonderful day." He said as I walked by. I got into the garage. I let out a sigh. I have to pick up Cecelia from her house. I grabbed the keys to my black sports car before passing my dad's, my real dad's, BMW 1600 GTL. It's a motorcycle. It's not as high up there as before, but it's still worth a lot. More importantly it's one of the only things of my dad's that I have. And I treasure that bike more that anything else in the world. I picked up the locket and looked at the picture of my dad inside. In the picture he was about my age, well that's the age that he died. I really do look like him; I have most of his facial features and eyes while I have my mom's hair and body type. I opened the garage and hopped into the car. Smiling I revved up the engine on this bad boy and sped down the rode. Cece's house was down the block from mine, like a 2 minute drive. I pulled into the large driveway before opening the door with my key.
