Love is begun by time, And time qualifies the spark and fire of itHe said gently. His Italian voice making the words sound even more beautiful than they were written. His eyes never diverted from mine the whole time.

“Yea but if we’re speaking of the romance aspect of it then Twelfth night total crushes Hamlet.

“Love sought is good, but given unsought is better” I spoke from memorization. He smiled. “This whole play is centered around love.” I said before shrugging.

“It’s a classic Ali!” Dante said making his case.

“Yea, well Twelfth Night’s smaller more unknown status makes it a read for only the true Shakespeare fans. Twelfth Night has a comedy aspect, it has a love aspect, it has a mystery aspect and a suspense aspect. It has everything Hamlet has and more. Therefore Twelfth Night is the better Shakespeare play.” I said simply. The buzzer rang calling time.

“That was a very good debate. With the evidence I name Alicia the winner.” Our teacher said before the bell rang. “That was amazing you two. Great chemistry between you.” Our teacher said smiling before walking to her desk. I grabbed my bag and waited for him by the door. It’s been a month. Dante and I are actually really close right now. We’re really close friends. Hang out with each other on the weekends at the café or at the park or the beach or something. He Said, She Said is a hit. Kids from every school in our county and a couple counties outside ours is watching it. It’s really fun working with Dante. He’s funny and nice and smart. He’s not too bad on the eyes and how can anyone get tired of that accent? You can’t.

“So, you won that one.” He said pushing me on the shoulder.

“Duh! That was an easy win.” I said smiling.

“Yea, yea, yea. Anyways, 13 reasons why. What? That book was just…” He started looking over at me.

“I know. I really like I Am The Messenger.” I said smiling up at him.

“I’m glad. It’s a very good book.” He said nodding.

“So are you ready for later?” I asked widening my eyes.

“Oh boy. I can only imagine the types of truths and dares they are going to come up with.” He said laughing.

“This is what we signed up for. The great perhaps.” I said winking.

“Looking for Alaska.” He replied shaking his head.

“You know it! Anyways, this is my stop, see you later babe.” I said blowing him a kiss and walking towards my friends who were waiting for me at the entrance of the library.

“What? No hug goodbye? I’m hurt Ali.” He replied holding his heart.

“Aww the poor baby. Next time, I’ll give you a big hug.” I said smiling.

“I’m expecting it.” He said winking before walking away.

“Heyo bitches!” I said smiling as I reached my friends.

“Omg, you guys are so cute together.” Aurora said dragging out the ‘O’ in so.

“When are you guys finally going to get together? The wait is killing me.” Cece groaned.

“Um, how about never? We don’t like each other. We’re just really good friends.” I said before opening up the doors in the library and walking in.

“Why can everyone see the chemistry but you guys?” Aurora asked looking at me.

“There’s nothing to see! Why can’t girls and guys be friends without people thinking they like each other?” I asked frowning.
