You attacked my boyfriend!

It’s been quite an emotional week in the Taylor household. With the only person in the house that I’m talking to being Aiden, my parents are a bit on edge. Yes I have been ignoring them. I spend 99 percent of my time in my room. The only other place I go is kitchen. Where as we’re still on Winter break and I have a bathroom in my room. I should seriously consider getting a mini fridge and microwave in here then I’d never have to leave. My parents have been trying to talk to me, but it’s a lot easier to ignore them when you really don’t care about anything they are saying. I don’t.

“Honey, this is for the best.” Bullshit

“You know he’s a bad person.” How can they even say that when they’ve never met him?

“He is our enemy.” No dad, he’s your enemy. Not mine. This is not a war I started and this sure as hell isn’t going to be a war I’m fighting in. I never wanted to be apart of this stupidity. All the violence. Everything. I didn’t put myself into this situation, I was born into this situation. If my real dad was alive I wouldn’t be in this situation. I would be living with him. He would be teaching me about Motorcycles and how to paint. He wouldn’t care who I dated as long as they made me happy. He wouldn’t judge people without knowing them because he was used to being judged. I wish my dad were alive right now. I wish. But he’s not. And know I’m stuck in my family situation. There’s nothing I can do about it. And it sucks. I heard a ringing on my phone.

“Hello.” I answered.

“Alicia…” The girl hiccupped sadly as she cried.

“Lexi?” I asked sitting up straighter.

“Yea it’s me. You need to get to the hospital quickly.” She said sniffling.

“Why? Tori, what’s wrong?” I asked concerned.

“It’s Dante. He’s been shot. I don’t know by whom or why, but he’s being rushed to the hospital.” She said panicky.

“Did you see the guy Lexi?” I asked.

“Um… not really. It was dark. I couldn’t see his face.” She said slowly.

“This is really important Lexi. Anything that you can remember about him?” I asked seriously.

“Um… Well He was tall. He had a strong facial structure kind of Italian. Very muscular. Black slicked back hair. He wore a ring on his right hand. It had a large red stone in the middle. I remember because that was the hand that shot Dante. He didn’t even try to shoot anyone else. He just put the gun back and walked away.” She said trying to remember.

“Ok. Ok. I’ll be at the hospital soon. Thank you.” I said before hanging up. I immediately knew who it was. I knew. They described him perfectly. Mickey. My dad sent Mickey after Dante. My dad ordered the hit on Dante. Why? Was it because we were dating? Was it because Dante’s dad kidnapped me? I was fuming. Raging. I feel like you could see the smoke coming out of my ears. I hated this. I threw on a pair of jeans, one of Dante’s Lacrosse sweatshirts, and a pair of black boots before throwing my hair into a ponytail. I grabbed my phone and headed downstairs. Upon my arrival downstairs I saw my parents lounging on the couch. He was just sitting there. He was just sitting there as if he didn’t just order someone to kill my boyfriend. Like he didn’t send a KID to the hospital. He sat there like everything was fucking dandy and his whole world was cupcakes and sunshine. That made me more upset. I felt my hands clench until my knuckles were white. I gritted my teeth before walking over to him.

“You attacked my boyfriend?!” I yelled angrily at them causing them to snap their heads towards me.

“Hello Alicia, nice to hear you talking again.” He said standing up and facing me.
