This is our 3rd week of He said. She said. Everyone loved it. Panther Pride has even asked us to start doing a non censored one just for their website that’s free to all questions appropriate or not. We start that tonight. As of right now we’re in the middle of filming the school appropriate one in our TV production class.
“I'm going off to college soon but I can't decide between going to drama school or studying art at a university. I love acting, but I don’t want to regret going and switching out?” I said reading it.
“Oh the answer to this is so simple.” Dante said crossing his arms.
“Oh really?” I said looking at him. Our set up was two chairs kind of facing each other, but also towards the camera with a small night stand between us.
“Yes. It is.” He said nodding.
“Ok Mr. Big shot. Go ahead and answer it them.” I said nodding at him.
“Do it.” He said simply and shrugging.
“There’s a whole process behind picking something that’s going to affect the rest of your life. This isn’t Nike. You can’t just do it! You have to think about it. Weigh the options. Make a list or something.” I retorted.
“Listen. If acting is something you love, something you are passionate about then there is no way you’re going to regret it later. Maybe some day we’ll see you on the big screen. Next question. My best friend is always judging me and I don’t know if I should stay her friend or move on.” He read the next one.
“Oh move on honey. There is no reason to stay around people that make you feel bad.” I said quickly.
“Yea, she’s actually right for once. Ditch that bi-… girl and move on to a better friend. Your life will be so much better when you do.” He said nodding.
“And sorry, that’s all the time we have for this week’s episode. Stay tuned for next week’s episode. I’m Alicia, the she…” I said before looking at Dante.
“And I’m Dante, the he.” He said smiling.
“And we will see you next week on. He said. She said.” Dante and I said in unison. The camera stopped rolling and we got up.
“Great episode you guys. Your ratings just keep growing. Keep it up.” Adam said happily before going back to his work station. The bell rang and I grabbed my bag and work material before heading outside.
“Hey super star, wait up.” I heard a voice call out from behind me. I turned around to see Dante.
“Hey big shot. What’s up?” I asked as we started walking.
“Nothing. Just didn’t want to walk alone to English.” He said smiling. I laughed in response. “You ready for tonight’s first episode of the uncensored version of He said. She said.?” He asked looking at me.
“Yea, I’m actually pretty excited.” I replied nodding.
“I think it’s going to be a great show!” He sang happily.
“I think things are going to get a bit heated.” I said looking up at him.
“Oh babe, I can handle heat.” He said placing a hand on my hip.
“Oh honey, you don’t know heat.” I said before slipping from underneath him and walking into our English class. I sat in our seat and took out my poem. Our assignment was to recite a portion of our favorite poem to the class. I looked over mine a bit even though I’ve had this poem memorized for years. I waited for our teacher to called us up. After almost everyone went she called me up. I stepped in front of the class.
