I don't know much about these characters, just got the idea from a friend, but they seem so cute together awwweeeeeeee!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗😍 Anyone who does not know this ship, it's Vietnam and Thailand.
Chaiya Boonliang is Thailand's real name. And Vietnam doesn't have a real name, but the majority of people call her Liên, so Liên it is.
I'm Vietnamese, so the words are at least accurate, lol.
Ana is a slightly old-fashioned and polite term that Thailand people use when communicating with someone.
____________
Vietnam was walking along a thin wooden bridge when she felt strong arms wrap around her. Before, she lost her balance and fell into the meandering river 2 feet below, she heard a familiar voice laugh,"Sorry, ana!"

A splash was heard from far away at the Câu Lân meadows. The peasants looked, shrugged, and went back to work.

Arrrgh, Chaiya, I just ironed my dress!!" She laughed, her green áo dài dripping with river water. A couple of stones were stuck in her long hair, and the red ribbon that kept her hair tied back was in his hands.
The one and only person who could've done this: Tháiland.
He held her in his arms, his hair very wet, his usual goofy smile on his face. His golden sash was lopsided, but he didn't seem to notice. She pushed it up, and he smiled in gratitude."Sorry, ana, I didn't mean to do that." He kissed her cheeks lightly.
Vietnam could tell from his mischievous eyes and smirk that he did mean it, but she said nothing. "Why?" She asked, flustered.
He shrugged, and just grinned," I was feeling particularly mischievous today, and you're cute when you're flustered, ana."
She blushed even more at his comment, and mockingly punched his arm." Next time when you suddenly decide to push me into a river, warn me first, Thai."
He pouted, and commented," But you would've said no anyway. And I didn't push you in, I hugged you, then you fell in, ana."
They both laughed, aware of how ridiculous that excuse was, and Thailand stood up, and offered his hand to her. "Come on, ana, do you want to go to my house?"
Vietnam took it, but refused his offer politely, as she didn't want to trouble him. She asked instead if he wanted to come with her instead to her home instead. Thailand inquired if he could bring his pet baby elephant, and she said," Oh, of course. That one that you dote on?"
He smiled nervously, and defended," I don't dote on her! I just feed her 7 meals a day, and save her the best bed, but no, I don't dote on Toto that much!!!
She looked at him skeptically, and he sighed," Ok, fine, maybe I do love Toto to the point of doting on her too much...but she's so sweet and cute!! Like you, ana!!!!"
She laughed, and snapped her fingers, and Toto the slightly overweight baby elephant appeared in his arms. His face brightened up immediately, and he thanked her profusely.
"Did you mean it, Chaiya?" She suddenly asked him seriously. He used his fingers to push her slight frown into a smile, and kissed her for longer than she would've been comfortable with. Nonetheless, she smiled into the kiss and whispered," I take that as a yes, Thai?"
"Yes, Viet-ana, my princess."
They lived happily ever after, and together, doted on Toto.
They loved each other so much.
