Your eyes, mesmerise, hypnotise but also lie- Poetic Justice

Christelle's POV

I munched on a chocolate bar, watching Lauren animately chattering with Jay. Jason was beside me, arm wrapped around my shoulder and amusingly listening on to their conversation. I snuggled deeper into his warmth, head on his shoulder and my arms wrapped around my knees on the bench.

"How are you so attracted to boys? Does it not put you off? And what about those girls on the beach with those skimpy swimming suits? Is that not a turn on?" She questions, forking green lettuce leaves into her mouth, her eyes never straying from Jay. He blushed hard, "Girls never did...uhm...sexually excite me...and its not bad, its like the same as a boy or girl in a relationship, just with the same gender." He mumbles, stabbing his slice of pizza repeatedly, like it was the reason for him being in this situation. I smiled. Poor baby.

"Enough harassing Jay, Laury, it must be uncomfortable for him." I defend, looking pointedly at a reddening Jay. She snorted, but kept her colourful mouth shut. "Soo...Jason. Where were you before you came to the cafeteria?" Lauren asked nonchalantly, her blues blazing into his squirming, wandering eyes. He shrugged, taking his arm away from me. I frowned. "Oh no. I was needed in the library so I thought, why not go quickly before coming here. It was on my way, anyways," He says, eyebrows scrunching. She studied him for a moment, nodding slowly. "Okay, than." Her eyes slid to my distressed eyes quickly, and her eyes softened. "Are you excited for our bio test?" She asks, jumping slightly in her seat.

I groaned, covering my eyes. "Dont talk about that, please. All those latin words cant get squashed into my brain. Why is life even so complicated with those over big words that Einstein cant even say or spell? Why do they even name latin words in bio? What is the damn difference? Its like they want our lives to be hell. Stupid latin...words." I rambled, stress becoming known. Its said that when Im stressed or worried or some thing. I rant on and on, unable to keep the stopper on the overflowing bottle.

Lauren giggled, "Im sure you would ace it, Chris." I half laughed, half snorted. "Your expectations, are once again, too high for me." I hissed, Jay chuckled, shaking his head.Jason rubbed my back comfortingly, kissing my temple. "You would do good, baby," He crooned. I smiled, not noticing the dark look that passed over Laurens face.

My smile turned bitter, however, when I spotted Sean, blazing red eyes staring straight into me. He gave a lopsided smile, waving his fingers in my direction. He was high. There was a blonde bimbo on his left, her pink claws stroking his bicep, her skirt could have been her underwear and her top was more than a little revaling. On his lap.She was giving him a flirty, or a trying to be seductive look. But hes eyes were glued to my table. His crew was busy talking and laughing about something, yet he was just....staring...thinking...smirking..eyes growing darker the more I stared back..

"Christelle!" Jayson snapped his fingers infront of my face. I turned to his irritated face. I raised a brow at him. "Did you say something?" I asked. He rolled his eyes. "Nothing. The bell rang." He said, in a rather cold manner. I frowned. Okay, than. He woke up, grabbed his bag and left, a stormy trudge passed the cafeteria doors. I shot a questioning look to Jay and Lauren, who just shruggen in turn. I sighed. Walking with a quiet Jay and an unlikely silent Lauren to class.
