The huge wooden double doors appeared menacing, as if they were the entrance to hell itself.

It could be. Who knows.

The hold on Pam's hand tightened as Casey tried to read the strange inscription. But soon gave up realizing that the writing was like nothing she's ever seen.

She turned towards Pam in a questioning way and she shook her head indicating that she didn't understand it either.

With trembling hands, they opened the double doors.

Casey couldn't believe her eyes. The sight was not what she expected. At all.

There was light inside. The source however seemed to be unknown to the outsiders. They walked in to see the lavish interior.

There was people walking side by side in a slow and similar pace, without so much as a glance to anything in particular.

Some looked old.

Some too small for the rest of the crowd but strangely silent.

Some looked young, although their eyes told another tale.

A dull sorrowful one.

They didn't acknowledge each other's presence nor did they notice the Intruders.

They're just walking. To an end that seemed too far.

No staircases. No second, third or any floors. Just open space. Like a park.

Only less joyful. Less lively.

Less everything.

Casey felt like she didn't belong there. She felt like nothing alive belongs there.

But she wanted to see. What? Only she knows.

It seems she's not satisfied with what they had discovered.

What had they discovered?

So unsure.

Yet the answer appeared to be terrifyingly close.

They had only reached a small distance. The walkers didn't spare them a glance. As if they saw them only as a part of the crowd.

Casey looked around and saw only more people along with the huge walls enclosing them inside. She tried walking forward when Pam came to an abrupt stop.

' Now what?' Thought Casey.
