"Where have these kids gone off to?" Miss Beatrice's angry voice echoed through the trees.

The driver, who was visibly shaking, wanted nothing more than to be back in the safety of his home with his evening coffee, made by his lovely wife.

'What is she doing right now?' He wondered.

His train of thoughts shattered when they heard a sound.

The sound of footsteps.

It was the unmistakable sound of someone walking.

It was getting closer and closer.

They strained their ears to listen more clearly, their instincts kicking in.

It was faint, the sound.

Almost as if someone was dragging their feet along the ground. Whoever they are, they seemed to be muttering something.

The driver shook all over, fear enveloped his whole being and he flashed the light all around.

Footsteps. Getting closer and closer.

The sound of a twig breaking was heard and the driver didn't think twice before screaming his lungs out, dropping the flashlight in the process.

"Stay away from me, you spawn of the devil!" The driver screeched out in fear.

The light shone from the ground to show the outline of a slim body.

Miss Beatrice, annoyed at the driver's antics, picked up the light and flashed over the shadowy frame.

Emily.

Miss Beatrice was about to give her a piece of her mind when she took closer notice to Emily's appearance.

Her clothes were torn in places, her hair was all over her face, her right knee had a cut indicating that she fell down at some point. But most of all, her eyes looked wild and she seemed to be muttering the same thing over and over again.

"No escape..... No escape... No escape.."

Miss Beatrice was worried now and she put her arms over Emily's shoulder in a comforting way.

"Emily, what happened?
Where's Casey and Pamela?
Are they alright?"

The driver who was watching the scene unfold was even more scared from Emily's appearance alone. The chanting was just the cherry on top and sent a creepy chill down his spine. Now he wanted to leave more than anything else.

"Uh...Miss Beatrice, maybe we should head back. The girls might've already reached the bus." He said. The words faltered in his mouth, due to his intense shaking.

For a second, Emily stopped chanting and looked up at her teacher's concerned eyes.

"You shouldn't have come. We're all trapped in here now. He won't let us leave." She said, her gaze not wavering.

Miss Beatrice looked wary of the whole situation.

"Emily,..

Who's He and what do you mean trapped?" She asked, emphasizing on the last word. But Emily had lowered her eyes and resumed chanting those words again.

"No escape... No escape..."

No Escape.
