Wattpad is being weird, so you probs haven't read chapter 12....which you might wanna do <.<
-Job. That's all that was on Bomi's mind at the moment. She needed to get a job. Why, you ask? She felt— no, she knew she was burdening the Jeon family. How? She overheard Jungkook's parents stressing about needing more money a few days before the left for the break. So, Bomi was going to get a job. She got a few job applications and interviews set up already, now she just need to try and seem like a good worker- which she was. I mean, she had worked at a café for awhile. But it sucked because most places wouldn't accept her at her age. Well, Bomi saw that problem and made a solution. She was just gonna say she was 21. Which was highly unbelievable, but it was worth a shot. Heck, she even made herself a fake ID.
-
She failed. At every job interview, she failed. And she only had one more chance left. Her last hope was being a bartender. Great.
-
Bomi walked out of the currently closed club with a wide smile across her face. She got the job. And, she didn't even have to lie about her age since her new boss didn't seem to care. He saw that Bomi was quick, and all she needed to do now was learn how to make some drinks. She was told that she was starting the next day, and Bomi was more than ready to earn some money. She could finally be of no trouble to anyone. That fact itself was enough to have Bomi ecstatic.
By now, Bomi had made her way back to Jungkook's house and she entered the residence.
"Kookie! I'm back!" Bomi shouted through the house. She felt kinda guilty considering she left without a word.
"Bomi??" A voice excitedly sounded through the empty home. Jungkook came running down the stairs and pulled Bomi into a bone-crushing hug. She responded to it fairly quick.
"Where the hell were you?? I thought you were kidnapped or something, you dingus!" Jungkook scolded. Bomi let out a breathy giggle.
"Kookie, I'm fine. And I have good news!" Bomi smiled. Jungkook pulled away a little, just enough to look at Bomi, and tilted his head.
"I got a job! I can move out soon!" Bomi cheered. Jungkook's expression fell. Move out?....Soon? He didn't want Bomi to move out...more than less, soon!
"Why would you wanna leave?" Jungkook frowned. Bomi gave him a sweet smile.
"You and I both know your parents are struggling to provide for the both of us, Jungkook. I have no right to stay here and make your family struggle-"
"Noona, we asked you to stay with us. We knew we were gonna struggle. But it was worth it because honestly, you're like apart of the family. We don't want you gone," Jungkook looked Bomi in the eyes. They both were barely teary.
"And as part of the family, I have to make sure you guys are okay. Me basically taking your money isn't helping anything, Jungkook," Bomi voiced out.
"Noona, I don't want you to leave."
"Kookie, you're over reacting! It'll be just like when I lived at the shop. I'll see you at school and you can come visit whenever you'd like, kay?"
"Yeah, okay. But you gotta promise me unlimited sleepovers!"
"Pfft, yeah, yeah. Deal."
-
"I got a job," Bomi stated. Jimin looked up from his phone.
"Huh?"
Bomi laughed at Jimin's confused expression and sat up on Jimin's bed (Bomi had gone over to Jimin's house to hang out after spending some time with Jungkook).
"I got myself a job since I figured it would be easier on Jungkook's family if I got my own place and stuff, ya'know?"
"What job?"
"Bartender."
"A bartender!? Bomi, you're fifteen! How did you even manage to get that job??"
"Careless boss...?"
"Oh my god, Bomi, you're such an idiot! What if a drunk-ass does something to you? What then?"
"Sheesh, Jimin, chill. Nothing is gonna happen to me. Plus, I'll always be working with one other person, so if anything were to happen I'm sure they'd help."
"And that person is gonna be me. Give me the address of this place."
"What?"
"I'm not gonna let you work at a club or bar or whatever full of drunkies and have you end up getting hurt or some shit! I care about you, Bomi, and if something were to happen to you? I don't know what I'd do with myself."
Bomi stared at Jimin in awe. She knew Jimin cared, but she didn't think he cared that much. She didn't think anyone cared that much, honestly, so this was quite shocking to her.
"Thanks.." Bomi shyly muttered. It was like her 4 year old, shy-ass self was taking over and she didn't know why. It annoyed her, but she kinda liked the feeling she got when Jimin got all protective and loving. She couldn't put a finger on the word that described that feeling she got, but she knew she definitely got it when Jimin showed her that he cared...or maybe just having him near her. Heck, when she thought about him. Ugh, what is that word?!
Endearing?
Fondness?
Lovely?
Loved?
Love?
