TRIGGER WARNING, IM SERIOUS

PROCEED WITH CAUTION

Sadie had always dreaded Mondays, especially the Monday of November 27th. That was the first day that she began her new school. She'd always been scared about starting new schools. She wasn't the type of girl that socialized much and she had been picked on and bullied in the past for not speaking and having disgusting cuts on her each day. Those cuts weren't her fault though well, some were but the ones that were visible and not covered by her sweater sleeves were all because of her stepmother. Her real father had just disappeared one day and never came back. So she was left alone with her stepmother. Sadie's real mother however was serving time in jail for a crime that she didn't commit. Sadie was dressing herself for school throwing on her favorite warm sweater with a pair of dark colored jeans. Her heart was in her throat as she walked downstairs. Waiting to be greeted with a slap she tensed up and tried to leave the house as quickly as possible. Her long red hair falling into her crystal blue eyes and she grabbed her backpack and tried her best to run out the door before her stepmother caught her. She actually succeeded for once. She ran down the block to her school. She ran until she arrived at the front door to the huge new school she would be attending. She saw many kids talking to their friends and laughing. Some would look at her and whisper towards their best friend. She saw a group of boys glaring at her like she was some kind of fresh meat. Well, I mean she kinda was but they were glaring like they were about to rip her apart like wild tigers. She already felt like she didn't belong here. She noticed one of those boys smiling at her and waving from the back of the group. He had dark skin and was wearing expensive nice clothes. She looked at him for a moment and walked inside the school heading for the front office to grab her schedule.
