It was finally Friday and the bullies had gotten worse than they were Monday. They're now actually talking to her face to face and making Sadie feel even more worthless than what she already was. She'd get a slap on the head daily by the leader of the popular guys, Sadie learned his name quick. Chosen Jacobs. His other little friends were, of course there was Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, and Gaten Mattarozzo. Sadie had to eat lunch in the bathroom everyday, but today was different, as Sadie finished her lunch in the first stall she heard someone else come into the girls restroom which was weird because nobody came to use the bathroom during lunch. Sadie saw the person walk into the stall beside her, Sadie lifted her feet off the ground so nobody knew she was there. She wanted to stay quiet until this person left, but that didn't happen. her peanut butter and jelly sandwich had its own plan. When Sadie lifted her feet the sandwich in her lap slipped to the floor notifying the other person.
"Hello?" a shaky girl voice says as she walked out of the stall. Sadie sighs and steps out also.
"Hi." Sadie sighs
"What are you doing in here?" The girls asks, Sadie noticed she had a pixie cut with ginger hair just like Sadie's.
"Um, lunch." Sadie says awkwardly
The girls sighs. "Me too. I'm Sophia."
"Sadie."
"Do you have friends?" Sophia asks
Sadie looks at the ground and shakes her head. Suddenly the bell rings signaling the end of lunch.
"I'll be your friend if you want." Sophia shrugs
"Why?" Sadie asks, not used to people 'wanting' to be her friend.
Sophia shrugs. "You seem cool, and I don't have friends either."
Before Sadie could answer the bathroom door is kicked open and Sadie is pushed to the ground with someone pinning her arms to the ground.
