Because Sadie wasn't wearing the cleanest of clothes and her hair wasn't brushes and still tangled, the bullies were even worse today. She wished she had all of her classes with Caleb because she knew Caleb would stick up for her. She promised Caleb she'd stop cutting but she was really getting tired of all these bullies. After school Sadie ran home and found the door finally unlocked and her stepmothers car wasn't in the driveway. Sadie smiled then it quickly turned back into a frown. She ran upstairs and grabbed a piece of paper and started writing a note. She put the note in an envelop and sealed it closed. Tears formed in her eyes while she ran outside and all the way to Caleb's house. She put the note in his mailbox and ran back home. Thinking about her horrible life.

Caleb was looking out if his window and staring at the people walking by his house. He then saw a scrawny redhead run across the road towards his house. He watched her put something in his mailbox them run away. Caleb was hesitant but wanted to see what it was. Caleb ran downstairs and outside and to his mailbox. He pulled out the small envolop that lay inside. He opened the envelope and saw a note written in scratchy handwriting.

Dear Caleb,

I know I promised you, but I can't do this anymore. These bullies have gone way to far and maybe they'll leave more people alone after they see what they've caused. I want you to know that I'm glad we met and became friends. Sometimes I even wanted us to he more but I knew that would never happen.

Goodbye. Love, Sadie.

P.S. You say you want to save me... So please... Save me.
