Dear Simon,
If you're reading this, you've received the first of many letters from me. I'm probably long gone so there's nothing you can do to stop me or change my mind. It was a difficult decision that I didn't want to make- but it's for the best. I'm probably gonna regret my decision on the way there.
I couldn't tell you any of this face to face. I was scared, I didn't know how you would react- how I would react. It was all a mess, a mess that could be fixed with my absence. Do tell JJ that I love him and that I really appreciate him. I'm also very grateful for you too, Simon. You've been such a great friend, I say "you've" because our friendship will be difficult to maintain from a long distance and I know how busy you get sometimes. This is the first of many goodbyes. Don't miss me too much. I love you, Simon.
Yours Truly,
Daisy xox"-you always cancel last minute, can you not reschedule it for another day?" JJ complained over the phone, he added a huff as a loud crash was heard from his side of the device.
"Vik, will you watch where you're going, mate?" He continued to whine childishly, irritation becoming clear in his voice.
"C'mon Daisy, you promised. It's been like a whole month since we last saw you," Simon joined in, his deeper voice caught my attention because I'd almost forgotten I was speaking to him too.
"-you mean the last time you saw her was a month ago, I saw her yesterday," JJ corrected his friend, there was most definitely a smirk on his face before he broke into laughter.
"I've been travelling. I can hardly take her with me," The white haired man defended himself through the phone. I could just envision his cheeks become slightly more tinted with a pinkish colour and how he would struggle to keep a smile off his face too.
"You actually could," I spoke up, breaking the back and forth chatter between the two guys. JJ let out a snicker. A small smile grew on my face. I just loved these boys so much, they were literally my everything.
"And how could I do that?"
"All you have to do is invite me and then buy my plane ticket, it's really that simple."
"Of course she only flys first class," JJ piped up, bursting into a loud laughing fit which would probably include him rolling about on the floor of his bedroom.
A typical JJ.
"Eh guys? Why did you both call me from separate phones when you literally live in the same house?" I questioned, the realisation suddenly hit me.
I wondered to myself, they could've just called on one of their phones but chose to stay divided between the plastered walls.
"He has his own room, I have mine. Besides I'm currently editing for my second channel," Simon answered informatively, sounding like a busy man- which he was; so I couldn't blame him.
