Third Person's POV

Once the party had died down completely and people returned to their homes, the inhabitants of the Sidemen house dispersed and bid each other goodnight.

Daisy tried many times towards the end of the party to reach out to JJ, to try to make him understand why she was leaving them.

JJ continuously ignored Daisy, pretending like she wasn't there. He could be so stubborn sometimes, it was probably his strongest trait.

The many times Daisy called out to JJ he just turned away his head, took a sip of his drink and asked the others around if they heard anyone talking.

Whether they gave him the answer he wanted or not, JJ played along with his own game and walked away from Daisy each time.

By the fourth attempt, Daisy had grown wary that JJ wouldn't speak to her ever again. That she wouldn't exist to him even when she moved to Australia.

Australia was one of the places on JJ's travel bucket list— so he'd have to give in at some point to visit his childhood friend.

When JJ had walked away from Daisy for the last time, telling her "I don't know you," quite harshly, Daisy was ushered away by Simon, away from JJ.

"Please just leave him alone, you know how he can be. He'll get over it eventually."

Daisy stared back in shock, frowning at Simon's unreassuring response.

"Eventually?"

Simon nodded at his now soon-to-be ex girlfriend and lead her away JJ to the rest of her friends who were a lot more supportive and encouraging.

Daisy explained to Talia, Gee, Freya, Emily and Nia that JJ wouldn't speak to her. Like Simon, they all tried to comfort her but all attempts failed as she never stopped worrying at the fact that one of the most important people in her life didn't want to speak to her.

While many of the other guys girlfriends' went home, Simon thought it was best that Daisy stayed with him that night. He was trying to get as much time with her as possible before she left.

The shocking news still hadn't completely settled with Simon, but he tried to cover it up so that Daisy wouldn't notice his disappointment.

Of course he was happy for her, that she was ready to go and follow her dream but he didn't want her to leave, like any loving boyfriend would.

It was silent and slightly tense in the room for a while, each person getting ready for bed in a world of their own.

Daisy was slightly worried that Simon would start ignoring her too, but she knew that Simon and JJ were completely different people— that came with two very different reactions.

As they both climbed into Simon's king-sized bed, they threw each other a quick smile before rolling in the opposite directions, away from each other to fall asleep.

But both of them knew neither could get any sleep after the catastrophe of earlier. Seconds later, simultaneously, they both rolled over again to face each other.

Neither said a word, and the only sound floating the air was the sound of their steady breaths. They observed each other silently, taking in what neither would have the opportunity to talk to as often, to kiss as often, to love as often.
