Dear Simon,
I remember very well the day of the charity match at Charlton the first year— it was crazy. I still get goosebumps thinking about how great the turn out was, and how so many people watched it online.
Of course you guys didn't win, which sucked (not trying to rub it in or anything), but it made me realize how you guys never give up, how you never give up. Even in our times of trouble, where everything fell to shit, you stopped it from crumbling, you stopped us from crumbling.
That is probably why you're really attractive to many people, many people including me.
(Don't let this boost your ego too much)
Love Daisy xoxo
PS. You still haven't told me what you wanted to tell me, I'm still waiting.
The day we had all been preparing for finally rolled around the corner, when it arrived, it took a lot of us by surprise. Vik in particular.
Simon convinced me to stay over the night before so I could head down to the stadium later with them and when I sat in the kitchen at the island still half asleep, I had to rub my eyes twice to make sure I was seeing Vik properly.
He looked crazy tired but tried to play it off, gesturing for me to not harass him with intruding questions while he silently ate his cereal.
"Did you forget you were playing in a match today?" I asked cheekily which a snicker and picked up my empty plate and placed it by the sink.
He shook his head I response and continued munching on his food nonchalantly, basically ignoring my presence.
Cool.
A few minutes later, Simon trampled down the stairs in excitement and his vlog camera in hand while he talked to it.
He acknowledged me by sending a quick nod as he flashed a smile in my direction. He pulled out some fruit and some more healthy food as he explained how the day was going to run to the camera.
"—everyone will be there, even Daisy, who I know some of you a really excited to see," he mentioned, flipping the camera in my face and catching me off guard.
"Emphasis on some."
Simon pulled his head out of view from the camera for an instant as he threw a stern glance my way causing me to sigh and trudge upstairs in annoyance.
"It's not like I'm wrong," I muttered to myself, making my way back to Simon's room.
"Do you always talk to yourself?" Josh's voice rang out before I could shut the door closed. It caused my heart to do a jumpstart and knocked the wind out of me— as they all knew, I was easily scared.
