Bre’s POV
I woke up with a start, sitting straight up in bed, my breathing heavy. Slowing my breathing down, I looked down and suddenly started to panic even more. This wasn’t my bed! It was by far the most comfortable bed I’ve ever been in but it was not mine.
Siting up straighter on the side of the bed, I scanned the room. It was rather simple. It had two white dressers, this amazing comfortable bed I was currently sitting on, Loki sitting in a chair across from me, a desk-wait-Loki?
My breath caught in my through and fear clenched in my stomach. I stared at him wide eyed with my mouth slightly agape. It wasn’t a dream. Loki kidnapping me, it was real; this was real. Tears formed in my eyes but I blinked them away, focusing on the man in front of me.
Loki chuckled at my shock and slowly got up from his chair. “Ah, you finally awaken.” He said, standing up with his hands clasped behind his back.
Trying not to show my fear I moved to the side of the bed and swung my legs over it, my gaze never leaving Loki’s. When I swung my leg over the bed I felt something touch my hip. My hand flew to the right side of my waist and I smiled as I realized I still had my gun. As soon as my smile was there, I quickly wiped it off my face, praying that he didn’t see it.
Careful not to draw attention to myself, I slowly started to take my gun out of the holster. “Why am I here, Loki?” I hissed out, trying to distract him from the noise of undoing my gun from around my waist.
He smirked, “Where is the fun in telling you so quickly Agent?”
Quickly I whipped out my gun and held it at him. I was expecting him to be surprised but he ended up surprising me.
“Really?” He asked, amused then started to walk towards me from the back of the bed. “You really think you could stop me?”
“I can sure try.” I hissed and moved the gun with every step he took.
Loki chuckled, “I have to admire you’re bravery but it also shows your stupidity. You really think that a simple mortal weapon could defeat me? Did you not see what your weapons did to me when I first arrived to this pathetic planet?”
I hesitated and he knew it. A cruel smile formed on his face. “Do you want to do this the hard way or the easy way?” He asked.
Looking down at my gun, I lowering it slightly as I weighed my options. I shook my head feeling stupid. Why was I even considering letting him win! Bringing the gun back up I pointed it at him. “I’d rather die than take the easy way!” I told him.
He made a tsk, tsk sound, shaking his head. “I had confidence in you Agent. I thought you would know more than this. But, however you would like it,” My hand pulled the trigger but instead of the bullet hitting him, it only passed through him hitting the wall from behind him, his form shimmering after the bullet passed through him. I gasped and took a step back, not knowing what the heck had just happened.
Suddenly a hand flew around my mouth and my gun was knocked out of my hand, my body being forced back into something hard and sturdy. I titled my head to see Loki’s face, smiling down at me. I let out a scream then turned to look in front of me to see Loki there as well. My eyes were wide and I looked frantically around the room feeling like I was going to faint.
