"God damn it!" You shouted for the twentieth time as you fell flat on your butt and down onto the ice. Whoever invited ice skating must have hated humanity and every living thing, because for the sake of everything you had, you could not stay on your feet.

Behind you, you heard your boyfriend snicker before he graciously glided in front of you and offered his hand. His blue eyes held a twinkle, and his blond hair was swept back.

You looked at his out stretched hand and then back at his face that held that silly grin before frowning even more. "I don't need your help," you sneered though your legs were still wobbly and you could not get up.

"Are you sure, snowflake?" He asked, as he literally skated around you in circles. "I'd be more than happy to help- maybe we can stop skating and get some hot chocolate instead, if this is too hard, alright?" You knew he meant well, but you were too stubborn to admit defeat.

"Not all of us have world-renowned national figure skaters as mothers," you told him as your gloved hands made contact with the icy rink and you pushed yourself up. You wobbled backwards and nearly fell again, before you collided with a soft chest, and Nao's hand was guiding your waist.

"What's that suppose to mean?" He questioned.

"It means that skating is in your DNA so I'm at a disadvantage."

"... This isn't a competition. Also, that's not how genetics work. At all. All I did was practice and-"

"Nope. Not listening, let me go-" As soon as Nao released you from his grasp you almost plunged forward- which caused for you to cling to him instead. His chest was vibrating from laughter as he grasped your waist and skated with you hugging him tightly.

He hadn't said anything- no teasing words, or taunts or smooth phrases.

"...what're you thinking?" You murmured as you managed to skate by his side steadily, keeping his warmly gloved hand in your grasp. His cheeks were a rosy pink from the cold and his apparent thoughts.

"I'm thinking about how lucky I am to finally have you."

"Huh? What do you mean finally? It's not like I'd date anyone else."

Nao snickered, before twirling you dramatically (catching the eye of many individuals in the ice rank, much to your embarrassment). His small smile turned into a serious expression. "Just know that I'm happy you chose me, okay?"

You were beyond confused, but you weren't going to say anything to the man who was currently keeping you from falling flat on your behind again.

Then, he was smiling again and helping you stand upright as he glided towards the exit, with your hand still in his. "Let's actually get something warm to drink now and then go catch up with Rima, alright? She still wants to see that horror movie with you... but I want to come along."

"Why?" You asked cautiously as you stepped of the ice rink.

He blinked, before fixing your warm hat and dusting away a small snowflake that had fallen onto your nose. "She spends more time with you than I do... and I think I should probably get to know my girlfriend's friends a little better if I want to be with you for a long time."

Your mouth flashed open but you closed it again as the comment caught you off guard. You stuttered a bit, but tried to play it cool.

"Y-You want to be with me for a long time?" You questioned, as you hesitated to face him, and you both walked back to the ice skate rental booth, to return the skates.

Even without looking at Nao, you knew his face adorned a small smile and he was probably looking at you as if he cherished you most in the world. You didn't actually know that you were his world.

"Forever and always."

And now, here is a note from Nao!

Nao: Even though I may not end up with Y/N in the real story, I will still love her the most. The whole reason I was created was because of her existence, so I owe a lot to her. No matter who she ends up with she will always be my number one, and my snowflake. It was nice to have her, and call her mine, in this universe for once.

Bry: ... ew Nao you're such a sap.

Nao: What? But it's true an-

Bry: Alright that's enough of that crap! Look forward to the new chapter, guys!
