So the direct confrontation hadn't gone quite as planned. Meaning it hadn't really happened at all- at least not yet. You figured with midterms approaching, the Host Club suddenly getting a surge in new customers, gear and new magazines with top tier, quality photos of the hosts it would be more beneficial to wait.
Why break hearts immediately when you can mellow out the pain, right?
Except, things were starting to get a bit awkward. It was almost as if Hikaru and Kaoru were avoiding you which had been the complete opposite of how they were behaving merely days before.
And maybe you were overthinking a bit. That was a large possibility since there was a lot on your plate. With Tyler dropping by at announced hours, Nao rekindling his friendship with you (he's yet to really speak to the twins again, and they don't really acknowledge his presence when he's at your side regardless) school work beginning to come to a halt as midterms became everyone's sole focus, and your parents constantly monitoring when and how you did your schoolwork there was rarely a time to take a breather.
In fact, even as your final customers from the host club left there was no time to take a break.
You couldn't help as your eyes wandered towards the twins as they did their familiar trope, making people guess which was Hikaru and who was Kaoru. Even as you merely saw their backsides you could tell the difference- their mannerisms weren't the same and Kaoru had a tendency to slouch forward as he presented a dazzling grin.
God, you were pining out in the open and it was only a little embarrassing.
A part of you missed their presence. Before they developed feelings for you and were at each other's throats, they both had an odd way of relieving stress you hadn't known you were holding. Yeah they made corny jokes and had odd antics.
But that's what you had sort of miss most.
"Y/N," Kyoya started as he pulled you from your thoughts, tapping a clipboard with a black pen. He was looking down examining a paper with an unreadable expression, undoubtedly calculating something in his head.
You sat up in your plush chair, adjusting the dress with your hands. You gave him a slight nod, waiting for him to continue.
"It seems you're a bit behind on the photoshoot sessions."
You could physically feel yourself about to groan. "Look you are not about to stick me in a bikini, it's starting to get too cold for that anyway." You properly turned to him, ignoring the growing amused look on his face, as his lips twitched upwards and he didn;t even attempt to hide the growing smirk. "I'm also not wearing another kimono, no more risque cosplay shoots, and definitely no vampire shoots-" you listed the items off of your fingers, as a light tint of pink flooded your cheeks. You were definitely against another vampire shoot.
