These are the Horseshoe crab blood.

This Amebocytes protect them from viruses, fungi, bacteria.

These type of blood are sensitive to endotoxins which they surround, trap and kill it slowly.

So in blood test at hospital, things that are used to touch are blood are tested before well the us our blood.

So they use, LAL a.k.a horseshoe crab blood, if gels form, endotoxins are present.
