A month later I sat on the front porch in a bench swing thinking over how my life has been changing these last nine months. I’ve been going to church, I’ve also gotten close to Kris, she has had quite a life. I looked around and noticed a little squirrel cautiously scanning the area. I smiled and watched it scamper up at nearby tree. I looked down and my little black leather bound journal and smiled again.
Dear Baby,
You should be coming out soon. You’ve been pretty active lately, you like to kick. I think one day you may be a soccer player. I can’t wait till you come out and I get to meet you.
I looked up from my writing and saw people leaving their homes for work. I looked at my phone and the time read 7:30 AM. I closed my little journal and got up. When I got to my room I began to get ready for the day.

“Thank you for showing me God. I mean, I knew who he was but I was kind of mad at him.” I said to Eli as we walked down the sidewalk.
“I’m just glad I could help. You’re a special girl Janie God will do something amazing with you someday. Do you have any idea what you want to major in when you go to college?” he questioned smiling down at me.
“Well I have this feeling that I should be a school councilor in a high school. But it doesn’t feel like something I want, morel like something I think about a lot.” I said looking at him out of the corner of my eye.
“You would be a good councilor you would be able to relate to a lot of issues some of the teenagers are having.” He replied putting his arm around my shoulders.
“Oh my goodness!” I suddenly yelled, “I think my water just broke.”

Several hours later I smiled and watched as the doctor brought me my beautiful healthy baby boy. He has bright blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. I love him, all of his six lb. two oz. and 18 in. long body. He is beautiful. I looked up and saw Eli walk in and come and stand beside me.
I looked up at Eli and back down and the baby and whispered, “Zeke Len Sinclair.”
