I decided to walk to work with Penny, the Derry theater was close to home, walking distance. I held onto Penny's hand as we walked the dark moonlit streets. The streets were quiet as usual, the only sound was the deep growls of Pennys breathing. Soothing to my ears, like a song with a melancholy tune.
I look up at Penny, face full of boredom.
"Penny you know you didn't have to come with me. Don't you need to feed?" I asked, still looking up at him.
Penny looked down with his eyes as he let out a low groan.
"But I'm glad you're coming with." I said with a slight smile.
"Don't push it" Penny instantly replied with annoyance.
I almost laugh at how cute he was when he was getting annoyed.
The wind blew and it got chilly quickly, I shivered a bit and got an idea that I might instantly regret, but I was cold. I got closer to Penny and got under his arm, wrapped it around my shoulder quickly. I shut my eyes quickly, expecting Penny to stop and growl or get angry and yell, but we continued to walk. I was in shock of him not doing nothing but blushed and smiled afterwards.
We kept walking until finally getting to the entrance of the theater. I quickly get out from under Penny's arm and stop in front of him. Penny stood there with a confused look.
"Ok Penny, please be good." I whispered with a worried look.
Penny furrowed his eyebrows, indicating anger.
"No one tells me what to do, love." He growled as he was walking towards me.
"Don't get punished tonight." Penny said with a low chuckle as he was caressing my cheek slightly.
"I hope I do." I said with seductive eyes as I let my head rest on his hand and smile.
Penny's eyes widen and his red lips part slightly from my response. His eyes filled with lust as he was getting turned on by my words.
I turn around and grabbed one his deep orange-red fluffy cotton balls from his silk suit as I pulled him behind me, walking towards the door of the theater.
Finally inside I was expecting people's mouths to drop to the floor from the sight of a clown, but nothing. Almost as if they didn't see him. Maybe they didn't, or they simply couldn't.
After walking towards the office to check in I realized that they couldn't, there were many people here and one of them should've noticed a tall lanky clown following me. I sighed in relief and clock in.With Penny behind me I go to my usual working spot, behind the stand where you get popcorn, snacks, and drinks. Penny was now perched on the counter, drooling as he saw people walking by and kids running around the arcade spot. I could tell he was hungry. It made me panic. I had my attention fixed on Penny I didn't even realized a customer was trying to get my attention.
"Um hello, excuse me miss?! What are you looking at?" She yelled at me from over the counter.
"Oh um.. I'm sorry.. I was day dreaming." I chuckled nervously.
"Well day dreaming isn't going to get my popcorn!" She continued to shout, causing a scene.
"Of course, I'm sorry, that's my fault. I'll give you a bucket of popcorn. Anything else?" I said calmly, trying not to explode.
"No just popcorn. You would've known that if you were paying attention." She scolded.
I grab a bucket from under the counter and turn around to the popcorn making machine, I glance over at Penny but he was no longer perched. I start to panic and quickly filled the bucket.
