Personality: JEALOUS. 👏 She can be very bubbly, friendly, and outgoing, though family is quite a sensitive subject. When hers is mentioned, she may become distant or snappy. She enjoys reading, but often gets too distracted to actually finish a story. She's been described as rather scatter-brained. She's also pretty foul-mouthed, and sometimes has a hard time holding her tongue.
Raelyn's mother left when she was about seven years old; no letter, no last goodbyes, no warning signs, nothing. It wasn't until later that the Watson family found out that she left them for a man. Eventually, though, Raelyn learned to cope with it. However, her father never lived it down. Danny began to drink more often. He lost his job, due to unreliability and multiple no-shows, in which Bobby then started to work at the DX. They weren't particularly poor, thanks to their great-grandparents helping them out, but they were behind on bills. When she didn't have school, she'd sometimes bring Bobby a sandwich for lunch - thus how she met Sodapop and Steve.
Bobby became good friends with Sodapop while Raelyn tended to stray away from the duo and befriend the middle Curtis brothers' other pals. This was how she originally met Johnny and put two and two together (their situation wasn't very common in those days). It wasn't long before she crossed paths with Dallas Winston, in which she instantly disliked him. Whether this was because of his behavior, police record, or the odd vibe she got from him, she didn't know - either way, her conscience told her to steer clear of him. She never saw what Johnny did in him.
Cherry Valance was a cheerleader at her school, and a popular one at that. The disliking she held for her wasn't anything out of the ordinary. They'd clashed heads in a few classes, and she hadn't liked her since. The redhead tried to bond with her a few times, though for some reason Raelyn couldn't let herself engage in a friendship with her. However, the two are probably a bit more similar than she'd like to admit.
Likes: Pepsi, animals, sweaters, mid-length skirts, the color pink, and beach movies.
Dislikes: Chocolate, love songs, fights, drinking (the one thing that irks her about Two-Bit), and being made fun of for her height or age.
