YOU GUYS I'M SO SORRY I HAD MY COMPUTER TAKEN AWAY FROM ME FOR A WEEK BECAUSE I WAS WRITING TOO MUCH BUT I'M BACK PLS FORGIVE ME

"You see this ring? It's my ring. MINE!" Astrid squeals and barrels through my house again, jumping up and down while cradling the hand which is now adorned with a simple, yet beautiful, silver band.

"I KNOW!" I grab her hands and we dance around, screaming.

"Oh Thor, HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THIS?!" She dashes over to a mirror, desperately trying to smooth out her hair and grimacing. "WHY WOULD HE PROPOSE ME WHEN I LOOK SO UGLY?!" I run over and turn her back to me, squishing her cheeks.

"YOU, LOOK AT ME, LITTLE MISS HOF-" I giggle and change what I was about to say to something more appropriate for the situation. "LITTLE MISS HADDOCK!" We both scream and giggle as I continue on shortened breaths between hysterical laughter. "YOU. ARE. NOT. UGLY. YOU HEAR ME?!" She nods quickly and continues to dance around, euphoric.

"AAAH, I'M SO HAPPY!"

"I KNOW, AND I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!" We both hear a knock on the door and we freeze, eyes wide.

"Can I please see my soon-to-be wife?" Astrid opens her mouth to say something, blushing like crazy, but I cut in.

"NO! SHE'S MINE TONIGHT, AND YOU'LL SEE HER TOMORROW!" I hear amusement in Hiccup's voice as he responds.

"Oh, will I?" Astrid looks confused as well, and I grin.

"I'M PLANNING THE WEDDING, AND I SAY IT'S TOMORROW!" Astrid's eyes widen even more, and her mouth drops open.

"WHAT?!" She hisses, and I wave dismissively as Hiccup stutters.

"Oh.. U- Umm, o- okay? Just, don't mess up, o- okay?" I don't respond, simply squeal and run over to a screaming Astrid after we hear him walk away.

"HEATHER!"

"ASTRID!"

"OH MY THOR!"

"I KNOW!"

THE NEXT DAY

Astrid steps out sheepishly from behind a door, and Hiccup's jaw drops in surprise. Everyone gathered in the great hall (aka everyone in Berk lol) turns to look at her, cheering when they see her.

"THAT'S MY BEST FRIEND!" Heather screams from the crowd, drawing a giggle out from Astrid as she makes her way down the aisle, arms linked with Valka, grinning widely. Once at the altar, they run through vows.

But, as the priest is talking, Hiccup leans into her ear and hisses something.

"Astrid."

"Yes?"

"I want you to know something. I've always been afraid to ask you for this because of the change. I was afraid that we wouldn't be the same.. But it's been two years, and you're still the incredible person you were when I first met you. Over the years I've only seen you become a better person, more humble, more you, you've been finding yourself all this time, and it's been amazing to watch. You stayed strong through Ingrid's death, deny other people's opinions, but not only that, you've always accepted me. People try to fit in, but with you I don't feel like I fit in. I feel wanted. I feel like I belong. So, promise me Astrid. Can you promise that you'll belong to me?" Astrid turns to him, heart aching and tears forming. "Astrid, belong to me. Now and forever." She sniffs, nodding.

"Now and forever."

"YOU MAY KISS THE BRIDE!"

Wow. That just happened.

I just ended the book that started my love for writing. It honestly feels unreal, I thought this would never happen, but here I am!

It's really bittersweet to do this, both a relief and a sorrow, you know? On one side, I'm glad to end it off because of the burden it had on me to constantly give and write about things that I don't love as much as I used to, but at the same, it's sad, because this was my very first book, a lot of love and effort was put into it, and it'll feel weird not to come back and update it anymore.

I love you all SO MUCH, and thank you for reading! (Special thanks to @Silverwolf735 she kept me going during all of this with her sweet comments and motivation, so, thanks for that!)

See you all next book!
