I spent the whole day at Kenzie's house until the police arrived at the front door.

"Are you Lili Kolter?" the female officer said with a calm, stern voice

"Your mom is looking for you, can you come with me, sweetheart?"

"Yes, mam."

I went upstairs and packed my clothes anxiously.I never rode in the police car before. I guess theirs a first time for everything.I come downstairs, hug + thank Kenzie for letting me stay, and hop in the car. I look out the window, the trees are starting to turn orange. It looks so pretty. You can't really see this weather where I'm from.

"You ok?" she says turning back towards me

"Yeah, just frustrated," I said with a sigh

"I hated my mom too. All we did was argue, I totally get it"

"She's just so protective"

"You're her baby, she just doesn't want you to grow up. But soon she'll realize that you won't stay a little girl forever"

We pull up to the house. In front of the door, a very angry mother. Time to face the music.

"Here she is Mrs.Kolter"

"Thank you, officer."

Before she leaves, she gives me a note.

"Open this when you feel angry or upset."

She drives away and I'm left with my mom.She takes the note out of my hand and crumbles it up.

"Get inside," she says with an angry tone.

I'm now grounded, but that doesn't I don't sneak out. I snuck out of my window, climbed Shawn's roof, and tapped on his bedroom window. He opens it and says

"Hey there, Juliet."
