A Little Change (JaDine SciFi/Comedy)

02 Nadine's POV

My head went blank after I saw that blinding white light... I didn't know what happened next but the next thing I saw was Sam's foot at my right. I'm having a hard time breathing. What is this thing on top of me?

I concentrated on breathing.

My head hurts. My back hurts as well... There's something heavy on my back. I tried to move to see what it was.

James?

I blinked.

"Get off!" I shouted. Immediately, James seems to snapped out of a stupor and hastily got his weight off my back. I didn't know why I felt more annoyed at that. Didn't I want him away? Ugh, Nadine, just stop.

But then, I heard Sam say, "Uhm, guys?... Did everything just became big or did we just shrink?"

After hearing that, I immediately pushed James off me completely, stood up and looked around. James, who seemed to have heard the same thing, also stood up and looked at Sam.

"Guys... Are you there?" I heard Mike cried with a trembling voice. Huh, that's weird. His voicw is echoing around us, like surround sound.

It suddenly became darker, like we were under a shade, and without thinking I looked up. I couldn't help but gasp.

Giant and lookind down at us, their eyes widened with disbelief.

"What did I just do?" Henz said.

When I saw the two boys almost 1000 times bigger than us, I felt really really scared that I did what I always do when I feel vulnerable: lash out.

"AHHHHH!!!" I hit James on the shoulder our of frustration. "What happen to us? I told you it's not a good idea to touch Sir Mauricio's stuff!! And you two!" I turned to Mike and Henz, livid.

The 5 boys just listened to me silently. Even Mike ans Henz patiently listened to all my rant. I didn't even know what came out of my mouth. I was just so panicked.

I sighed and sat near Ivan who was speechless, too...

"Are you done talking Nadine?" James sais arrogantly... "You sure can talk a lot, sheesh."

I wanted to slap him.

"We shrunk! And it's all because of that machine and your stupidity--!!" I shouted but was cut off when Ishii spoke loudly,

"Mike, Henz... try pressing another button in the machine and point it to us" Ishii cleverly said.

Henz went over the machine and seemed turn and push everything in the machine but it's not working anymore...

Now, I know it's time to panic! Yet, before I can even open my mouth to do some more shouting, we heard foot steps coming from outside. It's getting closer.

"Shit! Sir Mauricio is coming..." I heard Henz say.

"What do we do now???" they claimed together.

"QUICK!! Put us in your pockets and get out of here quickly" Sam shouted.

Mike and Henz hastily nodded and obeyed. I was hesitant to go to a boy's--or anyone's pocket, I mean, I never imagined that there will be a day that I'll be in a pocket!!! Oh my God, what's happening?!

"I don't like it in here..." James said.

It's dark and crowded... Unfortunately, me and James happened to be in the same place: Henz's pocket.

"Ouch..."

"Ouch!! Nadine, can you please stop touching anywhere you please?!" I heard him say.

"What?? What was that? I didn't touch anything... I wasn't supposed to touch, did ?" I replied in worry.
