AN: added a new character. and will add more in the coming chapters.

A little flashback:

Scared that it might be a ghost, Mike and Henz almost ran but something held them in place; it was the chair. It's actually shaking on its own, as if vibrating. Feeling their insides tremble, Mike and Henz swallowed their breaths as the chair finally shakes out of its wits. Then it stood still, like a normal chair should. But then....

Eeeeoooowwwwwssssshhhhh..... Plop.

Mike rubbed his eyes, as if trying to see if his eyes are playing tricks while Henz stared. Mike, feeling the need to say it out loud, "Henz... The chair..."

Henz can only continue Mike's hanging words, "...it went back to its original size..."

The two boys looked at each other. Mike was grinning, "So this must mean--"

But he was cut off as suddenly, a wheezing sound erupted. The two boys looked at the chair once more. It was where the sound was coming from.

The chair was once again shaking and it was emitting a sort of glow. The boys watched, horror-strucked as a sound of explosion came. The next thing they saw were pieces of wood scattered by the hallway.

They looked at each other, wide-eyed.

But before they could say anything, the door to the lab opened again and the two hid themselves on a nearby corner and watched as their teacher emerges from the door. This time, their teacher was carrying a bag with him and seems to be in a hurry that he didn't even noticed the splinters of wood.

Mike was surprised to suddenly see Henz dived to the door.

He realized what happened a second after.

"Now we can get the machine!" Henz said, his hand preventing the door from closing and from being locked.

"Brilliant." Mike said, stepping over Henz and entering the lab.

"You're welcome." Henz said sarcastically, standing up, and righting himself.

Mike moved straight towards the 'height machine.'

Cautiously, he removed it from it's 'stand' of some sort and carried it as one would carry a baby.

"I got it, let's go!" He said.

"Stupid, we need to get informations as well!" Henz said.

"Huh?"

"That's Mauricio's invention, right? So I'm sure he have some notes or something. Maybe we did something wrong to the chair so it... well, ended that way." Henz explained, flinching at his last words. He didn't dare imagine the same fate happening to his friends.

Mike nodded once, and he placed the machine gently back on its stand as he made to search for notes as well.

Henz opened the table's desk and what welcomed him was a folder with the words 'My Inventions' printed on it.

Shocked at how fast he saw the folder, he took it and slowly opened it.

It was really a list of their teacher's invention in alphabetic arrangement.
