Chapter 5

When I snapped back into reality, I was on the ground and my head hurt. Aaron was over me, and I could see the fear in his eyes. He held out his hand and I took it. "Are you ok?" He asked.

"I'm fine, but there's something wrong." I'm not even sure what happened.

"Is there someone after you again?"

"Again?" as soon as I said that his who face changed. He knew something about me that I don't even know.

"You do remember last year, about the Eve's and your powers, Right?"

"The name Eve rings a bell, but powers. that ridiculous."

"It's not, do you not remember what happened last year?"

"Ya, I came here made friends and got a boyfriend, like a normal teen would."

"What boyfriend?"

"Leo."

His face went white, and I knew something wasn't right. If I had a boyfriend then people would know about it. I remember telling all of my friends. Last year was normal, I think.

"Hey babe," I spun around to see Leo standing right behind me, "I told you I was going to meet you in your dorm."

"I got a note telling me to meet up with Aaron."

"Leo, get away from her," Aaron stepped in front of me, arms out like he was protecting me.

"Why is it that you try to take the things I love." He paused and looked at me. "Come here, babe."

I looked at Aaron and back at Leo. Aaron's eyes were full of fear and Leo had a straight face. I took a step back, away from both of them. I want to trust both of hem, but by the looks of things they don't trust each other.

"Don't worry Grace, this is between him and I. You know that I wouldn't dream of doing anything to you." Aaron looked at me dead in the eyes. "Remember when the Eve family got you, I did everything I could to get you back."

"I remember."

"How do you remember, I erased it from your mind," Leo said.

"You did what,"Aaron stood taller "I knew you do stupid things but messing with peoples memories. She can see different times, and move through them. Do you have any idea what that could do to her?"

"She was having nightmares about the whole thing, I wasn't going to let her suffer."

They started fighting, talking about what happened last year, I couldn't understand any of it though. I felt light-headed. they talked about me going through time and pushing energy through a barrier. I just stood there while the world became foggier and foggier, I felt my body sway like I was falling from the sky. It was like I wasn't even there, the world pulling me away while another force was keeping me in place.

I could hear my name being called from a place so close yet so far away. It was a woman's voice strong yet so soft. I felt my heart hurting as the voice became louder as I saw a face come into view, she was so beautiful. I saw her lips move but no words came out.

Then I hit the ground. I laid there staring up at the clouds as they moved past. All I remember was falling asleep soon after, no words being said. I saw Aaron rush to me while Leo just stood there and watched with a smile on his face. I was in two worlds that day, one was mine, but the other was just a fantasy, not mine but his.

The next few days were just a blur, doctors say it was from not eating. leo had told me it was because Aaron was adding false memories. I believed him, and I felt that Aaron could not be trusted.
