I woke up in a large white room with hints of gold and blue. There was a table below a window, and across from that, a kitchen with what seemed to be a pantry. I laid in a large white bed that faced out to the rest of the room.

"Good morning Grace." Said a woman, she walked through a door that I hadn't noticed. She Had long blonde hair, almost like gold. As she walked she left a trail of what seemed magic that came off her. "It's more like evening by now. How are you feeling?"

"Fine. Who are you?" I asked.

"Let's not worry about that now, is your head ok?" She inched closer.

"My head? Its fine, I think."

"Not physically, you can feel anything like that here. I mean emotionally. You used up a lot of power back in the forest." she smiled a warm smile.

"The forest? Were you there?"

"Not physically. I have been watching you for a long time though."

"Why did you only help me in the forest, what about with Leo. I had no freedom, locked in a room." I sat up, only to feel a little dizzy.

"You were safe. Being fed, a warm bed, hydrated. Nothing was able to harm you. Other than yourself that is," She pulled some cups from a shelf and poured some tea, then handed me some. "You asked who I am, for that, I can't say. I can, however, tell you where we are. If you wish to know."

"That would be nice." I took a sip of the tea, it was hot but sweet. exactly how I like it.

"We're in your head. If you look out the window, there's only white. Normally that white void would be filled with all sorts of memories, overlapping to create a beautiful place. This room is all that's left. All that you know. Tell me, who are you?" She leaned forward and gave a smirk.

"who am I?" I looked down to see my hands. They were pale and cold, like snow. "My name is Grace-"

I sat there knowing nothing else. I don't even know my last name.

"This is what's left. You're here because of all the lies you were told in that boy's position. He is able to change, add, and take away memories. When you leave here, you will know him and all his lies. You were never sick, his cousin never attacked you, and you two were never in a relationship."

"I knew that," I sat up straight taking the last sip of tea "Now, how do I get my memories back. He can't just erase it all, that doesn't seem possible. I was able to remember names, faint pieces of places, and feelings."

"You're a smart girl. In a way, there looked up. I can help you."

"How would I know if I'm actually remembering?"

"Simple, this world will fill with them."

I smiled and asked, "where do we start?"

We ended up going outside, it was cold and bright. There were a few black spheres floating around. She had told me that there were fractions of memories. The smaller they are the older and harder they would be. Some even went back to the day I was born. Only because I had the power to see different points of time, but we would focus that later.

We spent a few hours sitting in the bright world. I had to let the spheres some to me, and they would decide if I was ready to see them. Since they were only fractions of the entire memory, I never got the full story and it was up to me to figure out was a true and what wasn't.

there was a lot off guess and checking the whole time. If I got it wrong, were ever the memory was in the world would be lifeless and broken. I would have to be in that small area, reliving in a way, to fix everything. Unless everything was there when I went through it things kept changing.

By the end of the first day, I had only gotten 2 really big ones done. There was my first day of school where I meet most of my friends and the day when I was told my mother wasn't coming home.

"I wish I was able to see what my mom looked like." I put my knees up to my chest.

"From what I could see you were very young, There may not be many memories about her. Let's not focus on that now, be proud of the progress you've made. You have 2 major part of your memory complete."

"I see them out there, but in here I cant just remember them."

"That's only because you're in here. When you're finally able to leave, they will all be there. Once that happens you can continue to work on your powers, they won't be the same as before."

~Authors Note~

This was harder than I thought. I didn't want grace to get her memory back and that be it, so I've decided she has to work for it. her going through memories may be for the rest of the book, and might go on to the next book. Or it may be done with by the end of this book, We'll see.

I hope you guys check out my others book. I've been enjoying writing them so I hope you enjoy reading them.

Love,
